A back in the saddle again type question

I'm approaching my first consultation for an implant. I started using the injections about 2.5 years ago, but stopped about 6 months ago due to fact that weren't as effective as they had been, their lack of spontaneity, and a fear of additional scarring. When going back to full intimacy after an implant, was it hard to pick up with your partner from where you had left off?

We tried briefly one time after I healed from the implant surgery, but I had lost my libido due to a stroke and my wife had lost interest long before. We had been asexual for years, but I suggested we give it a try for old times sake. Good sport that she is, my wife agreed. The attempt was unsuccessful - my wife asked me to stop after a few seconds, not because of discomfort but because she just didn't want to be doing it, and actually neither did I. Sex without desire is nothing more than an ungratifying mechanical exercise, at least for me. Before my implant my internist cautioned me that couples who have been asexual for a long time often never get it on again. In our case he was right.

I don't relate this to discourage you - you may be able to pick right up where you left off. I hope that's the case for you - good luck!

In spite of my ED my wife and I never stopped having sex. 8-) Keep that dick active (masturbating, or VED) never neglect it. Pre-surgery advice. Pump up your dick everyday (VED or novelty penis pump) I lost no length post implant and sex is BTE! :P :P If you're pumping, great. If not start.

Yes, I've started pumping in preparation of the doctor telling me to do so. I'll be at least three weeks in at the time of my first visit.

Baca,

I suffered with ED for 7 years. Got my implant December 1, 2016 and will activate it tomorrow. I know for a fact it will not be hard to pick up where we left off. Stay tuned for my post tomorrow or Tuesday.

Good luck to you and your upcoming surgery!

Jim

My wife and I were able to pick up right where we left off. But even better. We have been married almost 60 years and sex is still great thanks to the implant. I won't try to tell you that at our age it is just as frequent but how many couples our ages having sex on average once a week.

By the way, Donnie, if you remember us I was having trouble with my implant failing to activate. It started working again on it's own and has been ok since almost a month ago.
