Hope Medicare will cover it.
Be a lot of aging studs out there.

Article already mentioned a couple weeks ago.

Brings new meaning to the words "hot rod", as it activates when heated to 104 Fahrenheit.

If you want a longer love-making session, how do you keep it at that temperature? Friction?

When is the most oopular time to have sex? During power outages, right? Does anyone else see a potential problem here?

Even so, an inplant that is no more invasive than a malleable (no reservoir, no pump), but having the erect/flaccid duality of an inflatable with essentially no moving parts.

Still requiring testing. Who's first?

Wow.

I hope that people that get the current implants can opt for this after 15 years when it goes bad.

Hey guys,
Until they know more about it I'll happily keep what I've got. It sounds promising but it looks kind of scary. I'll wait and see how it works with other guys. :?

My greatest misgivings about it are

Implants with pumps can be regulated for rigidity. Sometimes too ridgid is uncomfortable. Can this device provide some accomodation for adjustment?

Pumpable implants can deflated at will, not too soon and not staying erect past the point desired. Can this one?

Is this MRI-compliant? How about TSA's and othes' metal detectors?

If it activates (104Fahrenheit) in a hot tub, maybe not too bad, but if you are working ouside in an Arizona Summer it could get dicey.

I know it is only supposed to heat up when the electrical current is activated, but it IS the temperature generated that makes it expand and get stiff.

With all that, it is a big step up in convenience, both in the implant surgery and in operation. No pump, no reservoir.

I think it's the most awesome thing ever.

I wish it was available now.
