Hello All,

First of all I want to thank all of you for guidance, support and advice. Without frank talk I would have been suffering with ED for the future. I have been to war three times and was more worried about ED than any Afghan.

I'm 43, military officer and in great shape. I can tell you this Tricare was great but I had a primary care provider that was a religious zealot and told me this "you do not need an implant because it's something that is not needed as you can continue to take viagra that works a third of the time. I nearly came unglued as I'm higher ranking and it was totally off. I told working 1/3 of the time working is causing anxiety with myself and my wife while understanding at times will become uninterested in sex in the long term. I asked to speak to the O6 and he came in with her and I said "sir I would like to speak with you without the major in the room". She left and I with respect went off on how judgmental and horrible she was. Well I got approved and the O6 apologized and said "I'll talk to her and I said no sir I'm changing my primary care provider today so I'll talk with her but I want you in her". I dressed her up and down and said "you might want to not judge people and due to your religion tell me what they need to do. It's totally unprofessional to say the least". She even later screwed up my blood work but the nurse caught it.

So off to Dr. Kramer. He is an amazing surgeon to say the least. After two weeks I was activated and ready to go! Things look perfect, it's harder than steel and my wife is going to be very happy.

I'm more than willing to talk to anyone that needs help or advice on the journey.

My best advice is get a world class high volume surgeon. Dr. Kramer or Dr. Eid would be great choices.

IM me if your young and thinking about an implant. I'm willing to help.

I appreciate you standing up for yourself. Doctors are a customer service just like anyone else who works for you. Some need put back in order. Hope it saves others from that crappola. I had several doctors like that. One ( Bullock at Washington University School of Medicine Saint Louis Mo) [damn straight I am naming names] had me to the point of suicide on his parking lot had I had the means. Great they have the degree, but it does not make them gods. Great your implant is doing good.

Hello Bubba48, retired military here. Just to clarify, does Dr. Kramer take Tricare? I would like to get a revision on my Titian implant but was not satisfied with the local Urologist/

He does take Tricare! I have Tricare Prime. I have been told about half the time Tricare approves the implant. If they so no submit again... that is the key I have been told...
