This relates particularly to you buddy. I dealt with United Healthcare denying my implant for several years. I finally sat down and read my policy and got to the bottom of it. United Healthcare will not pay for any surgery or device that is used " TO PROMOTE CONCEPTION". You MUST BE VERY FIRM that the purpose of your implant is to have an erection, that you have no intent or desire to get some gal knocked up. If your intent is to produce a kid with it, they will not pay for it. If you change your mind and want to have kids well after you get the implant, that is none of their damn business. The SOLE purpose for you right now is so YOU CAN HAVE AN ERECTION. You must be very very clear on that. Hope this helps. I had prostate cancer and a prostatectomy. When they take out your prostate, part of it is a vasectomy. They just do it higher up inside. Conception is out of the question for me since 2009 but it took me till the end of 2015 to figure out why they were denying me and get this worked out. I even hired a lawyer to get my implant at one point. Just remember what I said above. Sole reason is to have an erection. Tell them you cannot even masturbate now. Good luck.

I'm pretty sure I'm good with the insurance company.

They quoted me exact out of pocket expenses over the phone.

Very good sir! Stay on top of it. I hope you live in a state where they preauthorize. They are only required in Missouri to tell if a procedure code is a covered code. Cheers man.
