Why did you go Bionic?

What was your issue? Did you have ED or other issues? Curious if there are some people who got an implant even though they didn't have ED.

I think the primary issue is always ED, but there are some, like me, who have gotten various side benefits from implantation.

In my case, the implant put an end to the frightened turtle effect. I can see my penis any time I want, instead of having to search for it. Also, for the first time in my life, my circumcision actually works. The glans is permanently exposed and I couldn't cover it if I wanted to. After activation on Mar. 8, Mr. Peter is going to be about the same length soft or hard, and I like that.

Implant can help straighten Peyronie's disease.

Lost Sheep: Will the surgeon remove the scar tissue in the tunica while operating or how does that work? Perhaps the operation is a bit more tricky when one has Peyronie's?

Sometimes they will make surgical "relief" cuts. More often they will simply "model" the patient, which is a fancy way of saying they grab the penis and manually, forcibly bend the penis to break up the tissues to make it straighter. Ouch, but you are under anesthetic when they do that.
Go to any Peyrinie's support group to get better information. I am just relating second hand information to you.
