Enhanced pat down

I just saw a story on how they're going to start having "enhanced pat downs" at airports now. Since I'm traveling by plane soon, I'm wondering: With an "enhanced pat down," will they be able to feel something hard in my scrotum (the pump) and think something is suspicious? (I do have in my wallet a diagram card from my implant's producer that explains it. Will this be enough?)

I don't think even tRump would instruct TSA agents to squeeze passing scrotums. I doubt this is a concern.

changing planes in Tokyo a few years ago I had an "advanced patdown" from a young Japanese woman (in a white mask and rubber gloves) that was almost "intimate". I was a bit disappointed when she stopped short of a "full body cavity search"......oh well.....

I think I can enhance their (TSA) pat down experience.

I sure hope it is not all that intimate. I will be flying only a few days after implantation.

I know (from medical experiences after getting an implant) that the device is visible with a CAT scan or an MRI.

Gang:
I got my implant in Jan '16. Have flown Houston-la, Houston/NY twice, Ny to Rome and Barcelona to Newark and Newark to Houston. No problems, except Barcelona to NY and once from Orange County to Houston. Barc- Ny was stopped for extra examination with no problems. OC to Houston, was stopped for extra exam. TSA guy asked if I had any metal below the belt, I said "NO". ( I do have a 2 Ga frenum piercing, which I remove for travel) and he did a pat down, and let me go. Wife commented I must be a celebrity now. Don't know if the implant triggered either of these things.
Good Luck

I have one of those cards also, but I never had to use it. I have heard that enhanced patdowns will only be used if someone refuses the scanner. I went through the scanner with no repercussions. I assume TSA agents are being educated in these matters.

I took two domestic (Canada) flights two weekends ago and passed the scanner test with no issues both times.
