Hi guys,
I am a 31 year old man who has been struggling with ED for about 10 years now. I am now seriously considering an implant.
I want to ask a few questions on separate threads and will begin by asking this question on this thread:
1- How often do you have orgasms when you have sex with an implant? I am wondering because I have read that the penis is less sensitive. When my penis is healthy I have been able to have sex to orgasm 2 times a day. Does this go down or up with an implant?
2- After months of having sex frequently with an implant does your desire change? Maybe this question is because of my own personal experience with ED. I have peyronies and my relationships fall apart after about a month because I am not the same person in the bedroom
Please keep in mind I am single, have no family/kids, and want a long term relationship. I am looking for perspective as to whether an implant is the best approach

Re: Implant QA about Orgasms and Sex
I was implanted in January of last year, although it was not a good job.
If I want to have an orgasm, I'll have an orgasm...eventually. At my age they don't come as easily but that's not due to the implant.
Desire does not change. If anything, I'm hornier now because I know I don't have to worry about losing an erection. I can keep it up for as long as she wants. I find myself getting sore, but that's because the surgeon screwed up the placement of the cylinders right behind the glans, and there's too much friction on the tips of the cylinders.
The implant will straighten out your bent penis, but you will lose length because of the Peyronie's (differing viewpoints feel free to disagree). Talk to your surgeon first about things that might be done to correct the Peyronie's.
If I hadn't lost 2" of length because of a bad surgeon, I would be 100% delighted with the implant. I wish I'd done it twenty years ago, but with a good surgeon.

1. At first, the penis can be less sensitive. As long as the surgery is done correctly, all your sensation will return in time. After fully healing, it'll be back to normal.
2. My desire has gotten stronger.

I'm 9 weeks post surgery......I found that once the pain was pretty much gone, I was (am) more sensitive than prior to surgery......whether I'm masturbating or having sex, I have an orgasm.....

Hey Ed2013 (/ Xomanow)
Please note I wrote the below response prior to Xomanow's contribution and thank you both for your responses- very helpful
When you say your desire has gotten stronger, what do you mean exactly?
Here's the thing with me. When i can have sex (say after a while of rest - like a week or two) my desire is very strong, especially if I also take cialis/ when fully erect/ aroused
Say after a week of no sex do you also feel very aroused / horny with the implant? (The feeling when your 'semen' builds up and you're making out with an attractive girlfriend/partner). My main worry/concern with an implant is that I'll be able to pump myself up but won't be horny in this same way when after having abstained from sex for a while - that unlike now with meds I won't post implant get that I desperately want to have a hot girl / partner level of arousal... If that makes sense
Thanks for the info

Re: Implant QA about Orgasms and Sex
I don't think that the implant has anything to do with penis sensitivity (although I know some men who say that sex is more enjoyable with a hard/inflated penis than with a soft/uninflated penis).
And I agree that being always able to have an erection can increase your sexual desire (because you don't have to worry about whether or not your erection will happen -- you know it will).

You'll still get horny. Trust me. It doesn't affect your brain.

My sensation is still the same other than the pain coming from the cylinders, but that will go away.
Orgasm is the same.

Re: Implant QA about Orgasms and Sex
I am 10 weeks out from getting my implant and my glans at the head of my penis hurt when fully inflated because of the hard plastic tips of the LGX. I am hoping my body will adjust and I can regain my sensitivity because sex isn't really that enjoyable right now. My length is what it was pre-surgery however I have lost some girth which I am hoping to get back so I try to cycle everyday even though the pain is uncomfortable.
