Searching for new solution

I developed erectile dysfunction two decades ago while in my early thirties. Doppler imaging revealed venous leakage of unknown origin, but most likely from repetitive straddle injuries riding bicycles, dirt bikes and ATVs. When vacuum erection therapy, Viagra, tri-mix penile injections and MUSE transurethral suppositories failed, I opted for a penile prosthesis. I performed due diligence consulting with a couple of surgeons and combing the Internet.

I had to choose between an AMS 650 malleable penile implant having permanent erection and an AMS 700 CX 3-piece inflatable penile prosthesis having on-command erection. I desired a simple, dependable, durable and affordable solution so I chose the 650.

I had several issues with the 650 and couldn't use it. The total length was sized too long to fit inside the corpora resulting in buckling, extrusion and migration. An attempt to reroute the left side didn't help much. Lesser diameter rods couldn't match pre-ED girth. The right rod suffered a fracture resulting in poor axial rigidity.

I had to choose between an AMS Ambicor 2-piece inflatable penile prosthesis having on-command erection and Mentor Titan 3-piece inflatable penile prosthesis having on-command erection. I desired a comfortable, concealable and girthier solution so I chose the Titan.

I had several issues with the Titan and couldn't use it. The total length was sized too long to fit inside the corpora resulting in buckling, extrusion, migration, an s-curve, folded corners and an aneurysm. The greater diameter cylinders were constrained by fibrous scar capsules that couldn't be enlarged resulting in poor axial rigidity. In addition, the greater diameter cylinders were too wide to both fit inside the "smaller" glans. The longer length cylinders plus RTEs contributed to a "hinge effect".

I'd like a simple affordable long-term solution that's right for me. For several years now, I've performed due diligence consulting with several surgeons and combing the Internet, but couldn't go through with more surgeries. I think maybe I've actually had enough and it's time to go natural despite the obvious consequences.

Thank you in advance for any comments and feedback. It's appreciated.

Cheers,

Raider

Let me chime in here also - get a consultation with a top surgeon. I also vote for Kramer, but there are others nearly as skilled. You haven't been well served up to now, and it's time to get it right.

Dr. Eid is also well versed on fixing disasters. He has a lot of experience with the hinge effect, something he comment on often. Also a nice guy with standards.

Thank you everyone. I've tried contacting Dr. Kramer via email using the address on his website, but it doesn't seem to work. Would someone please give me his working email here or private message. Cheers. :D
