Hey Implant gang,
I am a 31 yr old who is thinking about getting an implant. I have been asking questions about it as I would be a single man seeking a long term relationship and family and I feel this to be a big decision
My question is really about sex drive with an implant. Right now (because I have poor circulation or a venus leak etc.) when flaccid around women my I do not easily get 'aroused' in the sense that without that full erection my penis does not have a lot of sensation (say when kissing, holding one another, etc)
So, Here are my two questions:
1- When flaccid does your penis regain some of this libido (not just mentally because you know you can have sex but physically). I'm wondering because pre implant t
/ ED the blood flow into my penis is really what after starting a make out session say builds my level of being 'horniness'. Pre ed you get more and more in the mood as your dick gets erect
2- When the implant is actually fully pumped up / erect and you are intimate with a girl how does horniness in foreplay compare to pre implant ed?
Thanks guys!

Re: Implant QA about libido
There are already several threads on the subject of desire, sexuality, sex drive, etc. in this subforum and you might want to search in the general discussion forum, the young man's forum, sexuality forum, etc.
It occurs to me also to ask if you have fully explored other treatments. Implantation is pretty much guaranteed to destroy all natural erectile ability, now and in the future. There are treayments that will become available while you are still young enough to benefit from them if you don't cut off the posssibility of them by having something as destructive and final as an implant.
Good luck

Re: Implant QA about libido
I agree Lost Sheep - I don't want to be pre-emptive about doing this procedure.
I had a conversation with Dr. Kramer who I would be having it done by. I want to have a healthy sex life in my 30s and be able to settle down with a partner I can have sex somewhat frequently with. I have done the gamut of oral meds but have no interest in pumps / vacuum devices.
The questions I have listed above I am still hoping to get some feedback on by people with implants. They are to me the most important. I will also check the forums. thx

Re: Implant QA about libido
I've always had a pretty good libido and still do......
1. When I'm flaccid I still get excited/horny, especially if I haven't had sex in awhile or masturbated in awhile.....I still feel the sensation when being stroked or stroking myself, the same sensation as I had prior to implant.....I feel in my mind that I can get an erection but I physically cannot....it's like the phantom limb syndrome.....of course I miss the natural erection process and the blood flowing, but I also miss my 1968 Firebird which I'll never have again yet my Toyota gets me where I need to go in comfort.....
2. When I'm pumped up it's the same as when I was naturally capable....my dick may not be exactly the same (very close though) but my desire and horniness is ever as strong.....my implant has not affected my libido except for giving me a bit more of it even if it's mental.....but you know the saying.....the brain is the most sensitive sex organ.....

You certainly can with an implant......you certainly can't without one...(if pills and other devices don't work or are sub-standard)

Also check the medical journals on line.
A Doctor of my acquaintance told me of a young man who got an implant. It worked for him, but a few months later, Viagra came on the market. It would have been a FAR better solution for him. This many years later, it still bothers this Doctor. So, the takeaway I give you is to look up new upcoming therapies. PRP therapy, P-Shot, Stem Cell Therapy, Gene Therapy, simply cleansing zyour blood (search for postings from "NowHard", who swore by the effectivenss of his recipe for dietary supplementation). Naturopathic solutions are not to be ignored.
When the time comes, if it comes, for an implant, you should nave absolutely no doubts.
Good Luck

That's conjecture.....it very well might not have been.....

Anything conditional is conjecture, true. But it was conjecture from the medical professional who evaluated and treated the patient. About as certain as one can get, I think.
Viagra certainly could have been tried if the timing had been there, which is my point. Do the radical after the conservative has not worked, and if there is something imminent, it might be worth waiting for. Of course, there is the other hand; life is short and a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Re: Implant QA about libido
all that medical professional knows is that the person had ED and that with the release of ED Pills it might have been able to help. Beyond that saying whether Implant was best is very speculative I think
I think what I really want is a penis that feels stable week over week and month over month. I want to wake up in the morning beside my partner and know that I will be able to have a stable quality of sex. It does not have to be the best sex in the world (though I am asking questions because I want it and my drive and foreplay to be good) but it does have to be consistent, month and year over year (minus the natural reduction in libido as we age, etc.)
For me personally, ED Pills make it work sometimes but in the end wear off and I end up in pain months into a relationship having to explain why I am not performing as I did before. I think it affects me psychologically much more than it has my partners, though it is not good for either of us..... that's one of the major reasons I'm quite serious about an implant - I want consistency. I am quite open to advice and might start another QA on this particular question
I agree with lost sheep that it is a big and irreversible decision. I also feel that the direction Lost Sheep took on this post was unappreciated as I asked specific questions (Title = Implant QA about libido) and it's digressed away from that topic. I would have preferred he PM me his thoughts / concerns (or links to other discussions that help to answer these questions) and let people with implants comment

I did digress from the O.P. subject, but believe it had value, unasked for as it was.
I could not post links to the other threads that addressed the O.P. subject because there are so many and I am working on a small, somewhat clumsy screen. (Or maybe it's me who is clumsy)
I thank you for your appreciation of my thoughts and beg forgiveness for taking the thread off-topc.
