Consoled with Dr Michael Oneil today

Postby sliphill » Mon Apr 03, 2017 6:41 pm

He showed me the various kinds of implants. I myself like the two piece one. I pumped it up. It only takes about 3 or 4 pumps to get it hard. He's been doing implants for 30 years, so he knows what he's doing. He is going to contact my insurance to see what they will cover. He did tell me that I shiukd at least give quadmix a try. So I finally ordered it today.

2 piece implants are designed to be used in patients with abdominal scarring.

I see. He asked me if I had hernia surgery. I did have both sides done. The thing I like is its a simpler design. I got to try it out, pretty cool.

The two piece model is inferior to a 3 piece. I recommend consulting a top surgeon. They usually are able to insert a 3 piece.

Sorry about the confusion. The doctor didn't suggest one over the other. He merely showed me all of them. Even the malleable one which he said he liked the least. I just liked the two piece design.
