What's the cost of an implant with dr. Kramer

I'm a 21 year old guy from europe looking to get an implant, this is such a serious procedure with so many things that can be done wrong that I'm willing to travel far for a doctor like dr. Kramer. If I go abroad, the implant will be out of my own pocket because health insurance doesn't cover abroad. So can anyone tell me who had the procedure done with dr Kramer how much it was? Any guys from europe with an implant reading this, please let me know the doctor's name if you we're happy with the result. I've researched for doctors in europe but there's just none with the transparancy of dr kramer. I'm not going to get this done by a local urologist who does this surgery twice a year. Also the concern from Dr Kramer to preserve your size and maximize the cilinder length even if it crinkles in the beginning while putting it in, is something that only a few doctors do i'm absolutely sure about that.

The words of Dr Eid (New York) echoed in my mind when I read your post.

Look for someone who is passionate and fascinated with their surgeries; and obsessive about obtaining a good outcome. Look for someone who is in love with their craft.

What is your country of residence?

Very good quote. My wife and I have discussed often that people who love what they do produce good work.

I just got the settlement papers in the mail yesterday on mine. Insurance paid $27,713.35, My responsibility remaining is $2142.14 for a total of $29,855.49. This did not include my presurgery testing which I had taken care of in St. Louis previously. Seems to me that Dr. Kramer had offered a cash discounted price of $26,000. My responsible part is about $1000 less than I was originally told it would be.

Yes both Dr Eid and Dr Kramer seem to have a lot of satisfied patients, I'm from Belgium

Wow okay, I had expected it to be around $15,000 max, thank you for that info, I guess i'll be rethinking about going abroad for the surgery. I hope i'll find a good surgeon who's open to guys my age asking for an implant, i'm afraid there's this tunnel vision in Belgium that you have to be over 50 to even have erectile dysfunction.

Sorr that I do not know any Belgium-based surgeons. Closer to your home, I have heard good things about a surgeon in England and read sone good papers from researchers in Italy. I think I recall sohe Spanish researchers, too, but do not have names readily available.

Good luck

I hate to say it but that tunnel vision is world wide, even here in the states except for a few doctors intent on helping a person and a few doctors who are profiteers only in it for the money. I have heard of a stateside doc who does it for around $15k but I do not recall who. i have not consolidated it all yet but travel, motel, parking, meals, and tips consumed approximately another $3,000.

Dr. Eid's price is similar to Kramer. Some have found lodging close and a similar rate we paid but most who sent me their expense record and the referrals that were given to us by his office were 2-3 times the price of Baltimore. Only one said their cheaper stay in New York was acceptable. Another you get what you pay for.

Best wishes to you sir.

Thialand, India and Costa Rica have a lot of low price medical travelers. They often prepackage everything including lodging. I was about to consider Costa Rica when Milam agreed. A friend who lived there was going to give us a place to stay and his man servant was going to navigate us around and another friend was going to fly us on his private jet but then he moved back here to the states. My internist who is also a researcher here in the states travels to Costa Rica for all his surgical care due to cost and they do have EXCELLENT medical care there. 20 hours flying time from Belgium might be tough on you but young helps there too.
