Removal of scar tissue prior to installing implant?

In another thread from a couple of weeks ago, someone mentioned that Kramer will remove any scar tissue he can get at before inserting the implant device.

As I thought about that, it seemed like removing scar tissue could help increase size. I hadn't heard of that before.

I had reason to talk to someone at Dr Eid's office yesterday, and she said that Eid does a separate surgery for scar tissue removal. She said she didn't really know about such things, and would have him call me on Monday.

Does anyone have any knowledge of or experience with this?

Don--This is one of the reasons I'm skeptical of many Drs. in this field. Many make claims that they can't, or won't come thru with. Now, I know some guys are going to jump all over me for mentioning Paul Perito in any kind of negative way. I read how much guys love him, and I acknowledge that he's helped a lot of folks. But, I'm convinced that, in my case, I'd be better off if I decided against implantation IF Perito did for me what he touted, and advertised. He spoke of the "scratch" method as a remedy for Peyronies. I asked him to start with that, and see the results before the implant was done. If it produced his expected results, there'd be no need for further surgery. IF it was effective, as he said it would be, I'd have been happy to continue with the Trimix for as long as possible (I think I had the best sex of my entire life the year 1/2 I injected, and the inconveniences were trivial for me. Heck, if it worked, theoretically, I might have gotten by with simply Cialis, which worked great up until about 5 yrs ago. Anyway, he refused---with little rationale for it. I have to think that, either the method is "iffy", or he's trying to push Coloplast. So my Titan came apart after 8 mo, and a different Dr put an AMX in--and very poorly. So I'm not really pleased with everything. Good luck.

Don,
she said that Eid does a separate surgery for scar tissue removal

Exactly ... if and only when it covered by Insurance ... you might get a little "modeling" done (think tunneling) but any major scar tissue removal needs to be addressed prior to surgery ...
