Implanted 4/17 and have some questions

Hello

I posted in the introduction section a little about me but wanted to ask a question or 2 here.
I was implanted with a Coloplast Titan on April 19th and my surgeon was Dr. Aaron Lentz of Duke Urology in Raleigh NC.

Dr. Lentz came highly recommended as he has done 100's of implants using both Scrotal and IP methods.I chose to go with the IP method as I am very healthy and Dr Lentz said the implants stood up better with IP in his opinion and recovery was better. I also opted to have a Vasectomy while I was under the Epidural Tap.15 days post op and I have no swelling at either scrotum nor incision but damn do I have pain in the tip of my penis and can feel the tips of the Implant hitting up against the glans and can move the end of my penis straight and the pain almost disappears but goes back to hurting when curve goes back to 30% .

As well I suffer from Peyronie's and had about a 30% curvature before surgery and still do with the Implant about 30-40 % inflated , which Dr Lents said I need to leave as is until follow up visit on June 12 . I have read that most guys begin to cycle in a few weeks after the surgery but Dr Lentz said no to that and that would jeopardize penis length. He did not need to put in extenders and came in the day after surgery in the hospital and said he thought that I would be very pleased with things and that " I had good anatomy", whatever that means.

This damn thing is so uncomfortable that I do not think I can go another 5 weeks with this thing inflated like it is and I drive a lot for work and not to mention just walking.Does anyone have any similar experiences or advice as to how to manage this until the return visit??

Thanks so much

Les

Ah the memories of that stiffy. I was left with about 60% inflation and it was not fun. However, you should be able to pump up with relatively little discomfort. Check out my blog. DD Bryan my implant journey. I describe how I managed with mine. Congratulations and Welcome to the bionic brotherhood.

Maybe that was the docs way of saying, "You've got a nice dick" Don't rush it. Take it nice and easy.

That reminds me of Dr. Karpman telling a person " That is one fine cock".

You will find things change from day to day week to week. Your body has to get used to something foreign too. Not quite like telling your eye to get used to a grain of sand in it but some days it will feel like it. Cheers man and keep healing.

Thanks Alibaba

Healing fine just uncomfortable with this thing partially inflated.

Any of your guys doctors told you not to cycle and inflate-deflate until the activation visit?
For me that is 7 .5 weeks from surgery and seems a long time to me ?

Yes,
It seems like a long time but you need to heal before attempting to cycle.
Donnie.

I also was left about 60% inflated, more or less, and Dr. Caesar told me to leave it there until activation, which was 4 weeks. It was a pain in the, er, penis, but I have to say there was a reason for the surgeon's instructions. I am out of the woods now at 3 months, and I could not be happier with the implant. It works and it causes me no pain or discomfort. I suggest grit your teeth and put up with the pain in the, er, penis, UNLESS you cannot see a slight improvement every day or so. If you don't see continuous improvement, then you do need to contact the surgeon.

Welcome to the world of bionic sex!

We Bionic Bros I am 3 weeks post- op with the pain getting better every day . I can finally sleep on either side without pain from the pump hitting up against my inner thighs. I will start the sitz baths tonight to massage the pump.

I am still a bit upset Dr Lentz is not having me back for a checkup/activation until June 12th. That just seems like a long time to me. Maybe I will cheat and get this thing working at end of May ?

Photo was taken today. Let me know if this looks about right for 3 weeks post-op

I know if it were me, I think I would wait until the 12th. Just saying.
