Percentage inflation for intercourse

What is the lowest percentage inflation at which intercourse is possible? (Please also, if you can, specify type of implant you have and number or RTE/Rear Tip Extenders).

I notice that many couples feel that inflation to 100% is a bit too hard or too stiff to be comfortable and that lower inflationrates/percentages are optimal. So, I wonder what the range is, from lowest that works, optimal and more than anyone wants.

There is a T-shirt saying, "Some is good. More is better. Too much is just enough." For implants, the saying might be a little different and I am looking for suggestions to have embroidered on my hospital gown. :o :D

Thanks, joe456, I appreciate your good wishes.

I have been working to get it through the Veterans Administration since August 2016. I could have had it back then but had misgivings and started doing extensive research. I am glad I did. Now I am doing my best to use the Maryland VA rather than my local Alaska VA) and have Dr Kramer do the implant at tha Baltimore VA hospital.

So, while I wait on the red tape, I have some free time on my hands, which allows me to ask these rather academic questions. I hope they provoke some deep thoughts which may prove worthwhile.

I inflate as much as I need to. My wife will let me know if she'll wants more. No 'mere mortal' can do this but a bionic man can!

At a dinner conversation, I told my wife that the implant can get as hard as she wants, and that it is ok if she wants me to make it a little softer. Her answer "oh honey, no woman will every say that a man's penis is too hard" Well, I am not sure if she really knows what she is getting in to. In general, I suspect that she likes it super hard, but I will continue my diligent field testing and let you all know if "hard as granite" continues to be her preference or if she wants it backed off a little. So far, she seems to like the really hard setting.

Yes - As other member said if you are getting the implant / have made your decision congrats lostsheep

I'm 31 and can still have intercourse (sometimes without any meds, though that's getting more difficult). If I was older and/or had a bit more severe ed (all of which I think will happen) I think it would be a no brainer - I think you are making the right decision

Some members have reported that their partners find an unyielding too-stiff penis is less comfortable than one with a little give.

Of course the driver behind the penis can ease that discomfort with care and skill.

Position will also affect the woman's preferences, too.

Not to mention the type of implant and the quality of the surgeon's installation.

So, this is a HIGHLY subjective and variable point.

The good news is that the lab work to map out exactly what is the optimal degree of stiffness is so pleasant.
