I recently posted regarding finally getting implant surgery on May 10. Recovery is progressing well but there is one thing that does concern me. The cylinders were left inflated about 20% or so after surgery. Now that the swelling has gone down I've been checking things out. I can feel the tips of both cylinders and they stop at the base of the glans. My understanding is that if they don't extend at least partially into the glans it results in A floppy head, a.k.a. the "SST" or "Concorde" profile. Has this been a problem for any of you other "implantees"? Thanks!

I don't have any problem, but my cylinders go well into the glans. From all I have read here, it looks like your surgeon was a little too conservative in selecting your cylinders. I don't think "floppy glans" is guaranteed, but you should watch for loss of length. You should not have lost any length due to the implant.

Fist I think you may still have internal swelling as 8 days is not much time to start trying to understand everything you may be feeling. My swelling lasted over 30 days due to some extra work Dr. Kramer had to do. I haven't yet been able to feel for the implant tips and once all internal swelling went away I found no Floppy Glans as the photos will show. The penis still fills with blood when excited and have what one guy calls a Wood-ete in the morning. Just a baby woody almost all mornings. I'd wait about 45 days and see if you still have the same thought and then meet with your doctor. If you are correct and your doctor disagrees, you may have to get a second opinion and than decide what to do.

Hope you are wrong and no matter what happens, the guys here will help all they can.

First your 8 days past surgery and if that is correct the swelling is NOT gone. My guess is you still have internal swelling as I did for over 30 days due to extra work during surgery. You may be far to early to start worrying about placement. I still can't feel the tips and yet I have a full blood flow into the head and no "Floppy Head" present.

I was told I probably wouldn't feel the implant parts in the penis because of all the tissue. You absolutely will feel the scrotum parts.

I'd say 'give it more time'....I laughingly call this the whole surgery and recovery thing: worry, worry, worry, HURT, HURT HURT, worry, hurt, worry, hurt and eventually...START FUCKING ...... GOOD LUCK!!!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yeah I suppose I shouldn't be concerned at this point, it's only day 8. I did see my GP today regarding other issues and he had just received the surgery report, a copy of which he gave me. It seems the surgeon had difficulty dilating the distal corpora due to it being "significantly fibrotic". That probably explains why the cylinders don't extend fully into the glans. Anyway my follow up appt is next week so I'll get more info then.
