I had the implant since Dec. Had hard time with recovery. I've been back to doc several times. I can barely press the pump and therefore have not inflated the cylinders. Was told to keep trying. Has anyone experienced this. I've tried pumping over 30 pumps and best I do is about 3 inches.

Have you asked your doctor about what the problem is? Some doctors have already-implanted patients who can meet with a newly-implanted patient to help him figure it out.

Do what? 5 months and you have not pumped it up?

My first implant was initially that way or more often could take 300 pumps to do anything. Once it broke loose it started working though inconsistent for quite some time. Try working the release button and HARD FAST pumps with both hands. The AMS pump does not respond well to a slow pump the first 1-3 strokes.
