Heading for Baltimore tomorrow......

My lovely wife (of 45 years) and I are headed to Baltimore in the am for my implant Wednesday by Dr. Kramer. It has been a long haul.....ED since 1998, Viagra worked for years, then quit. Went to vacuum pump and rings, what a pain in the ass, and HURT! Then finally to injections.....out of 10 times, worked one time half way.... The rest were duds! Decided with my Urologist implant was the final solution.
Found this Forum, and it has helped my decisions immensely. From the surgeon, to the different implants. I feel I'm going into this major change in both my life and my lovely wife's life full of the best knowledge available.
Although a year ago I underwent 4 1/2 hours of back surgery, I am still apprehensive about this surgery. I mean, they're messing with my DICK!!
This forum has helped to waylay most of my apprehensions, I still can't view any of the many YouTube videos of the surgery. I will attempt to keep and post a photo journal of my Bionic Journey.
Any words of wisdom from the members of this Forum would be much appreciated!!

Just enjoy your journey. I joined the brotherhood on 6/9/17. The surgery is not bad. Thank goodness for pain pills. I'm on day 9, and this is the best I have felt. I was very apprehensive about the surgery too, but with the support here, I went ahead with it. I'm glad I did. We're here for you brother.

Good luck, everything will be fine.
I had my implant 5 days ago, and lived to tell the tale!
Be sure that they give you a prescription for stool softener, very important.
Per the sage words of many others before me, use lots of ice!!! Warm showers great as well.
Stay sedentary for at least 3 days, I thought I was fine the following day and started walking around. Big mistake, and this set me back.
Chill out, relax and speedy recovery!

Wife and I had a great pre-op meeting with Dr. Kramer this morning. Seems like a real genuine, cari g surgeon. Interested in our lives, family etc. When we walked back to the examination room he was standing outside. I stuck out my hand and said " nice to meet you Dr. Kramer". He shook my hand and said "call me Andrew".
He went over the surgery with us, and stated almost all of his patients were off pain meds by the 2nd day. We began discussing the 2 manufacturers and types, and he had me drop trousers for an inspection. He was impressed with my girth (which my wife loved to hear, as she is really a "thick" queen!" (I have photos of pumping it last night that I will share).
He asked if I had any preconceived thoughts of which type I would like. I stated no, I will go with your recommendation. He recommended AMS, and I concurred.
He really put me at ease about the surgery, and now I'm going forward with confidence.

Good luck tomorrow. I had surgery with Dr. Kramer last Oct and everything went great. Best doctor I've ever had. And a genuine guy.
