i'm thinking of going to Dr. Eid for an implant, but he is out of network in my insurance plan. I will have to pay for 40% of the cost.

Can anyone share what the total cost was for their procedure?

Where are you located?
I had the same problem except my insurance would pay nothing out of pocket.
Do your search on the AMS and Coloplast site for doctors in network pick 3 and interview them.
One think to look into with Eid is Care Crédit. Eid can offer lower interest rates if you agree to pay it off with an installment plan.
