Why get a CX (or Coloplast)??

Postby wolfcreek » Fri Jul 07, 2017 11:27 pm

Why get a CX (or Coloplast)? You'll lose about an inch of length, based on my experience. So, are there any advantages to getting a CX instead of an LGX (or Coloplast)??

There are a lot of men who have not lost anything. Its impossible you have not read this in a long time you are here.
I'm sorry for your situation, but your interventions are always negative and pessimistic about the implant..

We don't all get good results every time we have an implant or a replacement. Would you prefer that people post only positive stories? Are you an industry insider?

I'm just trying to understand why I have lost an inch each time I have been implanted. I guess a better question would be why would a surgeon implant a non-length expanding implant after one has previously had a length expanding implant?

What is it with these incompetent 'surgeons' who can't properly put in a f.......... implant? My local Urologist is tops. I lost nothing. Not one half inch.

Same with mine, if i lost anything it's a few millimeters and I'm five weeks out of surgery. I think the only thing i could Google about him was where he works and his position.

I think Wolf asks a legit question: I think it all depends on the surgeon. I asked my doc why he chose the cx over the lgx. He said because (from internal measurements) my penis was so big to begin with, it was a perfect fit for the cx, without risking the hinge effect. (i assume he meant as opposed to using lgx + rte's.) I didn't measure pre op, or post op, but I gained at least a couple of inches flaccid and it's plenty big enough and hard enough erect for wild rides whenever I want. I have complete confidence in my doc and let him make the decision and I'm glad I did. Daily cycling is incrementally increasing size both flaccid and erect. Smetro sent out a study which indicates cycling can continue to increase size for 2 years at least for the Titan. Don't know why it wouldn't apply to AMS as well.

Loss of that much size has to do with the surgeon, not the particular device imho.

Having had both AMS/Boston Scientific brand ( who makes the CX you mention) and now a Coloplast Titan and having researched extensively plus spent a lot of time talking to doctors after the first crap implant I have this to share.
CX is usually used on men who have perionies, a lot of plaque or very long penis where wobble or sagging due to length can be a concern. LGX can make a penis with plaque or peronies bend much worse as my first one turned out to be. (Bent all to hell).
The Coloplast brand is recommended for all those same conditions as well as those who have extra girth. The CX will fit in slender penis' the Coloplast won't fit in. AMS does have a wonderful natural feel flacid. Coloplast and CX are noted to be more rigid. An honest doctor will explain it to you. A money grubbing shyster will just steer you to the one who pays him the greatest kickback or the one whose rep is scheduled to be there with a case full of them the day of your surgery. Choose your doctor well. God gave you 1 dick and you can't heal it like a bone if you break it nor does it re-grow like hair. Cheers.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

Alibaba,
Thanks for the info. Now I know why I got the CX and it had nothing to do with peyronies, plack, or scar tissue
