Need to talk to AMS about their warranty and get their help in working with my urologist and the hospital. I have an AMS 700 LGX that has failed. Need to get help from them coordinating the replacement as my insurance plan has now changed to specifically exclude penile prosthesis. They covered it originally.
I hope that if I can get them to help maybe I can work out a reasonable price from the hospital and the urologist.
Need the AMS support phone number please.
David

I'd call AMS. They have a great network of company reps...helped me immediately when I was having a problem with deflation...excellent company...

Talk with your insurance company. They covered it originally but now it is a medical problem, not a "cosmetic" issue. MOST of the fees involved with implants are for hospital and surgeons fees, not the device itself.

Thanks fellows, I got back in touch with AMS (Boston Scientific) and their liaison is having the local reps in the area get with the local hospitals and my urologist to see what they can do; know more later.
Also am trying to activate my Medicare since they will cover a portion if I get that going. Working with Social Security and Medicare is about as much fun as a root canal. Have estimates of a week or two to having to wait until July 2018 for coverage and this is directly from two different Social Security people. Oh, Medicare they will get back to me in two to four business days.
If I rely on what the website says I can enroll anytime since I am employed and getting healthcare from my employer also. The enrollment window is know as a Special Enrollment Period (SEP).
