Do you feel the implant?

I am in the beginning stages of getting an implant. I’ve been diagnosed with Diabetes 1.5 and I’m currently taking 4 shots of insulin a day (about 8 years now). A1C Blood sugar control ranges from 6.7 – 7.3, my diabetes has nothing to do with my weight, I’m 5.9 weigh 165lbs. 57 years old. Due to having the diabetes and not knowing it for years it has caused me ED problems starting 30 years ago and gradually getting worse. Started with Viagra, Cialis, vacuum pump, and finally tri-mix injections. I never felt any of them worked very well, but was to some degree at least helpful. I’ve had the “Doppler” test (and just as I told the doctor, the injection he gave me may have turned on a switch, but nothing). My insurance will cover an implant. My concern is: I have gone from a “travel size” to a “bite size” and the “shrinkage” is a real concern. I’m worried that I will feel the tubes & the pump and that it will drive me insane. One doctor stated he would use a 12cm implant. I’m thinking of getting another doctor’s opinion as well. My wife and I have been married for 39 years and she supports me in getting an implant. I would appreciate any suggestions or if anyone had similar worries and had an implant and if they feel it all the time or what? Thanks, VegasED

I would be concerned about that because of 2 things...
1. There is about 1/3 of the implant that goes back the other direction and has nothing to do with size, so that would leave you about 8 cm of implant for length which is 3.2 inches. I have a little guy and I am an 18 + 2.

2. The only definitive way to measure is to ram this measuring rod up in your dick. You have to be in surgery to have that.

Vegas: My sense is you need a second opinion from a doc who specializes in sexual medicine or male restorative medicine. Preferably from a university hospital. Do some searches on Franktalk. See what other guys have done. Most experienced docs will tell you to vacuum pump at least twice daily for a minimum of 6 weeks before surgery to maximize size. I would not accept a recommendation of a short prosthesis. I have not seen them advertised as less than 16 cm. Shop around!

I'm completely unaware of the implant unless I touch my penis. Otherwise it's totally unnoticeable.
