Insurance Dragon in Suspended Animation -- Looking for Schedule as soon as possible

Well the dreaded insurance dragon has had his fire quenched for a while. Medicare is activated and with it and my other insurance I am waiting on my doctor's scheduler to get back to me.

Expect to be in for revision soon. Had I known that the insurance was going to work so well I could have left the original appointment. So sometime in August it should be bionic 2.

To all those thinking about an implant for the first time, here is something to consider, after 4 and a half years I will fight to have it done again.

The implant is a hard decision, it makes you nervous but the results are enough to go through it again. To all of you out there scheduled for the implant, hang in there. I will join you again soon.

Left a bunch of posts back in 2012 describing the first time, expect to put out a few describing the second time.

Congratulations David. I had my implant done through Medicare plus supplemental insurance. They paid 100%.

Schedule is here now. Pre-admit 8/11/2017. D-Day II, 8/18/2017! That is not too bad, only 2 weeks later than originally planned.

Now back to the waiting, never fun, always time for nagging questions.

Will you use Dr. Morris again?

Absolutely! Pure mechanical problem, no need to change surgeons or device. He is also my urological oncologist. He has published papers on treating prostate cancer recurrence.

David, I have read a lot of comments about the "big decision" or the "hardest decision of my life" etc. When my dick stopped working I went looking for a fix. My urologist told me about all the treatments. I tried the tri-mix and hated everything about it and then practically begged for the implant. There really is no decision. If you want a guarantee it will work, get the implant. :)
