Sensitivity reduction and return over time

Postby Smetro » Sun Jul 30, 2017 1:26 am

I would love to hear from guys who have lost some sensitivity but have now regained or are regaining all or most of it.
At 6 months on I realise now that I did lose some sensitivity where orgasm is concerned. I still have to masturbate briefly before re-entering quickly to shoot inside my girl. It is a big deal for her and I had difficulty convincing her that it isn't because of 'her'......that its me.
It's so interesting.....all the nuances and changes that being bionic brings.

I lost sensitivity as well. Took a few months to get back to normal. Stopping all masturbation and thinking about some fantasies while having Intercourse helped in the meantime.

I didn't really feel any numbness so to speak, I just couldn't seem to feel the old sensation. I thought it was possibly my age??
Am I in a minority? Do most of you not lose feeling?
I am pretty stoked that it seems to be returning.....Wouldn't mind having a bit of premature ejaculation again for a while!! (Vaguely remember being 15 years old!!)

I had my prostate reamed (turp) 3 weeks before my implant. I have not been able to have an orgasm through sex since. I didn't know if it was on account of the turp or the implant, but have noticed a dramatic loss of sensitivity. I can bring myself to orgasm but vaginal penetration is not enough stimulation. I'm told this will improve. Fortunately my wife & I have been through so much with my ed she doesn't take it personally & we spend a lot more time enjoying my bionic dick because we can.

I lost sensitivity after my prostatectomy and am hoping to regain some (actually, all) of it when I can get an erection again. I'm looking forward to becoming bionic, but I do wonder about further loss of length and sensitivity, both of which I know can happen with an implant.

Bob you are able to have an orgasm now right? I know i asked this question. I was turned down by 3 doctors, including Dr. Eid, for an implant after 6 months. How did you get them to agree to give you one after 5 months? I wanted to do this last summer but couldn't.

Tybee,

Yes I have been able to have a few orgasms, solo. Ejaculation being such a big part of orgasm for 50+ years, I'm still getting used to the new reality. I don't know how much of my difficulty in climaxing is from reduced sensitivity and how much is from it just plain being difficult to accomplish with a limp dick. :?:

As far as the scheduling, my erectile capabilities were pretty poor prior to the RP. Had used pills successfully for years, but about 2 years ago they slowly became less and less predictable -- would work well some times, poorly sometimes, and some times not at all. The not at all became the standard, with occasional success stories, but even they became less and less satisfactory. All of this to say that I had a prior history of ED, which I guess counts when it comes to insurance and doctors being okay with implantation so soon after the RP. Also, even though I didn't want to, I jumped through the required hoops of trying the pump and the injections. In a way, I'm glad they didn't work, because they sure got in the way of any spontaneity. ( And, they were a pain in the dick).

Hope this helps. And I really hope this implant helps! :!:

Dehydration is a big reason for lack of ejaculate.

I don't hav ejaculate because I don't have my prostate.

NO, Larry when us guys prostatectomy guys don't ejaculate it is because we don't have a prostrate. LOL
