So far so good...traveled to NYC (3hrs away) and had Dr. Francois Eid do the procedure on Wednesday AM. Pain has been minimal so far and no swelling or bruising yet either. This has been pretty easy so far, but I know I have a long way to go for full recovery and activation. I feel like I could have gone to work today-really. I am taking at least one week off though and see how it goes mid next week.
Length does not seem to be an issue at this point, but I am only partially inflated now. Went with the Titan on the doctors recommendation. Was about 6" x 5.375 girth before, hoping to be as close to that as possible, but wife thought I was too big before-lol so if I lose a little I can live with that Seems to be thicker already. Will end up looking well hung in the locker room now
Very relieved to finally have this done and be on the mend. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Eid and his staff. First rate all the way!

Good for you!
I am sure you can hardly wait for activation!
I am convienced that the whole process of being implanted is as much mental
as physical. A guy in the right frame of mind just seems to have less problems. (NOTE) I didn't say no problems, pain or discomfort. Having said that is really is as much mind over matter as anything.
You sound like the mind thing is in total control and that is good for you not to mention
the wife. It reall helps to have their support.
Best of luck and good wishes.

Hi Bob. Congrats on becoming bionic! I can't wait to hear about the healing process. Good to know that you went to see Dr. Eid. He appears to be one of the premier specialists and having him on your side will, in turn, let us all get to know how he operates through your experience. Days 4 and 5 tend to be the most difficult in the healing process and you are there as I write this message. I'm thinking good thoughts for you and hoping for a speedy recovery. It's all uphill from here on out! Looking forward to hearing more from you. Keith

Hey Bob,
Really happy to hear that your surgery went well and that you are not having any difficulties. I am due for mine first part of Dec with Dr Eid who impressed me overall. He makes one feel relaxed and has a great personality and it is worth driving all that way. i am in NYC so it is easy.
How was your trip home after surgery? I am anxious about the whole thing and I don't know why....but your post sure helps to relieve some of the pressure of the whole process.
Speedy recovery and hope to hear more of your progress.

Titan implanted by Dr Eid Due to Peyronies, Implant was the only option for me.
Update
Day 5...I can't believe how easy this has been so far. Just taking Advil now to help with soreness in the shaft area. Swelling-none. Bruising- none. I have actually cycled the implant a few times to try it out...no excessive pain, just some soreness as I left it up for 5 mins while I showered. Length is pretty much the same as before...a bit more girth now. Went from a grower to a shower now!
Having seen many pictures of purple and swollen post surgery pictures, I had noticed the few I saw of Dr. Eids patients looked pretty normal. This is what I have experienced and I attribute this to his skill as a surgeon. I look completely normal even naked...no "trauma" to the area, I could shower at the gym today and nobody could tell a thing! If anyone wants any more specific information feel free to send me a PM or phone number to talk. I had spoken to several members here before going "under the knife", so I am more than willing to pay it forward
Back to work tomorrow. Will keep you all updated!

Wow Bob, what an encouragement!
I’m having my surgery in 2 weeks and as good as I have felt about it, you have helped me feel even better. Keep up with whatever your doing, it’s working. Continued good healing and good luck..
Thanks,
Ron

Great news Bob, I had two exams with Dr. Eid and planning on surgery in early 2012. Could I ask what tests like ekg, blood, etc. were required before surgery? thanks
