My Perception of the Implant (Unimplanted)

Postby defiant » Mon Aug 28, 2017 5:12 pm

I've posted a few times in this thread as I'm considering this option very very seriously. The first step for me will be booking in for a consult with Dr David Ralph as he is the highest volume surgeon in the UK and very highly regarded.

I wanted to share my perception and thoughts on the implant.

I remember the first time my urologist a few years ago, post lymphoma, said to me, there's always penile implantation. The thought of it made me shudder and I could not even accept that as a possibility. BUT, if you are like I was then, you must realise that this is the most successful 'cure' for total ED out there. And if you put up with ED long enough, it begins to look like a very attractive option.

If you deem it so alien, ask yourself, is it really? People have all kinds of implants and devices inserted. Women use the coil, people have pacemakers fitted, metal plates to keep bones in place, spinal implants...the list is endless. All of these are life-saving, life-improving treatments and we are blessed to live in an age where this is possible! Just because it's your manhood, doesn't make it weird, if anything, it makes the implant that much more an important and brilliant device.

Won't women think it's weird though? Well, maybe some will, yes some people joke about implants but actually when push comes to shove, the vast majority of good, educated, loving women, will not care at all, they WILL understand and support you and they will enjoy the endless sex. See an article on MensHeatlh written by a female sexologist who experienced a bionic man. Spoiler, she loved it and saw it's obvious need and benefit. A good woman, will love you, for YOU!! She honestly won't care. As long as you can be intimate; which by hell you will be, she won't care! She'll love it. That's my perception and belief! My current gf said she wouldn't care at all and would support me in whatever decision I made.

The final decision to make the leap. This is the hardest part, especially if you have function. This is where I'm at. I never really get morning wood, I rarely feel a stiffy at night, there's no way I could whip out my cock and start masturbating such is the level of my anxiety and inability. But I can perform very well on cialis. So it's tough for me. I know I want to live much more freely and my anxiety is crippling. I would say I'm a definite candidate. But it is irreversible. This is the crux of it all. Coming to terms with the fact your dick will feel different; you won't get morning wood ever again, you won't get this that or the other. But one has to question their status quo and the circumstances in which they find themselves. If you're not living a happy and fulfilled, able life, and exists; if you suffer total ED, I believe the implant is one of the best inventions in modern medicine. The final frontier indeed.

Still looking for anyone implanted to have chats with! I'm on whatsapp or email if you're okay with that. Trying to research this properly!
37, mild to moderate ED since age 21, 3 Dopplers - 1 result VL & 3 later results 'no physical problem', dependent on cialis (efficacy now waning), overcame Lymophoma at age 26, ED causing immense/profound psychological distress. Considering implant.

-Unimplanted...

If I get the amount and timing correct, Viagra can work, and Cialis works, morning erections, etc.
Enough to build confidence, however. when put to a stress test, either seems can fail.
So not reliable. Viagra gives me side effects, and Cialis aches and pain after a couple days.
Trimix works, but getting harder to inject. Seems my skin is getting thicker....

Plus, I am just over having to do it.

Whether sex with a partner, or masterbating. I always have to plan... Viagra,,.. Cialis.. inject...
If I don't use anything, I get nothing... Just sucks and is frustrating.

I want to know what life is like to never carry, or think about any of those three......

Just my opinion. I am scheduled for a consult with Dr. EID in a few weeks. I will go from there.

But I think I am the road to Bionic...

I could not get hard enough for penetration any more. And morning wood had stopped for me a year prior. But I resisted for a little while, but 6 or 8 months of not feeling a pussy was enough me. Sow i went for consultation, and 3 1/2 weeks later I was implanted. They told me here that it would become part of me, after 10 short weeks, it really has. Like Donnie says, I love my dick. Lol

I didn't think too much past the fact that injections can add to scar tissue that may restrict the size of implant to be inserted.....that was enough for me after 6 months of 3 times a week using Caverject.....I didn't even ask many questions except 'when can you do it doc?'
Didn't watch any videos and wasn't on here until well after my op.
Sometimes you just have to step over the line!

Agree with all.

I love my dick now.. .when it gets fully hard. Just sad that when that happens it is like a major accomplishment. Life is not supposed to be that way.

So.. I will gamble. I will trust, pray, and hope, that my after penis still looks pretty much the same, can still stand up, and the shape will not be too different.

But as everyone implanted says, its a small price to pay to be able to have a working penis any time we like.....

I remember being in your shoes too. I was so on the fence about an implant. But my dick had stopped working.

I can say that after 10 weeks, it does not look the same, I have a much bigger flaccid and it gets as hard as a rock! :D

Ha.. good.

Well I know I won't be able to have a nice small flaccid dick. But I am willing to give that up, and take a chance that a large always present and watching Titan will not be too much of a problem.

I will just have to tame the beast !!

That is a small loss, compared to always being able to take action when needed.

Treetop, that's the part that you're going to love. Being able to get hard when you need to is so stress free. Ive gotten all but a 1/2" back in 5 weeks, so I'm sure I will get back to my original size. Even if didnt, I wouldn't care!

Yes, I think that is correct. I will get used to it.
At this point in my life, I have no idea what it is like to be able to have sex or masterbate any time I wanted. Other than when I was 16, I don't think I was ever that way. And maybe not then...

It will be a new life.
