How do I find a implant doctor in the bay area?

I live in the bay area of northern California (San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose). How do I find a doctor to do my implant? How do I know how much experience he has installing implants? Is there a way to talk to the implant manufacturers field representatives to see which doctors in my area are doing a lot of implants successfully? Thanks for your thoughts on this.

Edward Karpman, MD at El Camino in Mountain view does perhaps 200 per year and is talented. The only downside is that he is quite partial to AMS (though many would say that this is an advantage). Also, he uses infrapubic incision (and that can means getting the pump position just right can be difficult); but I think his patients are quite happy in general. For the SF Bay Area, Karpman would be the guy.

Copy that. Karpman is the guy. He does surgery at El Camino Hospital in Los Gatos, 1/2 hr from my house. I had a lot of complications after my surgery that were not related to the surgery itself. He patiently worked me through the issues and wisely helped me avoid a second surgery. I was not able to get into a cycling pattern for several months so I had built up a lot of scar tissue. My dick was stuck at 4 Oclock, flaccid or erect. Once I got through the epididymitis infections, he showed me how to train my erection to get it back to 2 Oclock with a nice upward curve. I'm 17 again and a very happy camper!
And yes, he leans toward AMS. I read all the hype for both AMS and Coloplast, but after much deliberation, Coloplast does a better job marketing, but I think they're pretty equivalent.

I didn't know that was possible. Mind sharing any details?
Before my RP, my erections were at one o'clock, now 3:30....

Bob, pretty simple actually, keep it inflated 3-4 hrs/day and pointed toward your belly button. (Not as easy as it sounds). I had to modify some of my underwear to strap it in place since I'm pretty active all day long and with certain movements it wants to slide into positions that can be pretty painful under your clothing when rock hard. Also keep it pointed up the rest of the time when flaccid, even when sleeping. Karpman says it's similar to braces for your teeth - eventually it will get the picture. I've only been doing it for 3 weeks and it's made a huge difference.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. It makes sense.

Great, let me know how it works out - don't know why it wouldn't be the same for the lgx. & I'm sure we're not alone. Must be other guys that would like to see a more salutary erection angle. Good luck to you.
