Hi folks,
i heard that its better when the Implant is inserted without RTEs...due to reasons of instability and bad angle of the erection, some surgeons (including Eid) recommend to use as less as possible (best case: none).
To my question: i read that the longest LGX cylinder are 21cm long...is it a good idea to insert them into a 16cm penis? Will RTEs be necessary? Iam having such a hard time to go for the titan (recommended by my surgeon) since i want the most comfortable flaccid possible....

Merrix had some comments on AMS and RTE's and I looked it up:

This is why the need to use RTEs on average is higher with the AMS. Otherwise the pump will sit too high due to the shorter effective tubing length. Hence many docs use RTEs with the AMS to avoid the high pump issue.

Like you I think I might prefer an AMS for softer flaccid, but Titan is being recommended for me too.

my understanding is that the lgx really will not work well for larger penises. Titan is best in that case. AMS CX would be OK. Ask your surgeon about the details.

I would not worry about flaccid. I've a longer penis and got implanted with LGX 700 21 cm+4 RTE. I'm 3 weeks post-op so the jury is still out. My first activation was yesterday as I started cycling. Pumping is so hard and frustrating, but I'm at 4 o'clock angle due to the long RTE. My doctor asked me to tape my penis to my tummy few hours every day to try to mold it to point up.

That is that first time I heard that one. Will be interested and seeing if it works. Only question is why not a tight jock strap?

I used a jock strap on the outside of either whitey tighties or Boxer briefs and it was more comfortable for me.

Jock strap makes sense. So i have a lower angle erection as well. Do you wear jock strap flacid, semi or totally erect to do this. I have been pumping to bout 75% and put my waist band of gym trucks over it while pointing up. I do this for an hour or so while watching tv. Seems to be helping.

Bandit, I wore a jock strap outside my normal underwear for at least a couple of weeks. I found it more comfortable outside. I wore it regardless of state of inflation. Afterwards I have switched to very snug Lycra type boxer briefs. Still using them.

I have an AMS CX 18 cm with 5.5 in RTEs. No wobble erection at 3:00. Perfect for doggy style. I love it.Gives me a 7x5 erection.
