Implant Nov 13, 2017

Postby ocitgo » Thu Nov 09, 2017 12:50 am

l am anxious for next Monday to get past Day Zero. l saw my urologist this week twice. I have a failed turp that plugs up about every 6 months. i am at that point now. It needs surgery before the implant which needs to be done Friday. The catheter stays in for a week and will be there for implantation on Monday. I dislike them and they don't get better.

This week I saw my urologist. I am now 1 month past implant. At 2 weeks I accidently tore my stitches out that are now healing. Surprising they were not restitched and will heal open. My experience was difficult becasue ER didn't know how to deal with it and I was in and out of ER twice and lost a lot of blood. That it is now water under the bridge. After New Year I hope to be good to go.

Today I was cleared to use my implant for the 1st time. It took an extra month for my torn stitches to heal. I have no pains except for high inflation. It feels good. I have been married for to my wife since 1963. In 1993, I caught leukemia and that set me back. Nothing really worked me. Chemo Body and Brain. We might try it out tonight.

Do you know if we might have forgot how to do it?
