Gentlemen..I had the AMS 700 installed on Monday 10-24-11 and my Dr said as soon as I got home to pump it twice then empty then put two pumps back in and leave..wow how in the hell can you do this with swelling and soreness...talked to Frank and he said I should only work on getting pump in place for the first 2 weeks..then start to utlize the pump on like Dr said...I am not having much luck on pulling it down...but I guess I am doing it right...bad thing about having long didtance surgery you just cant go and see Dr...also your opinions please on how I should maintain my penis..the position that is like when I sleep and when I am awake..I read where I should have it it in a hard on psposition even though it has onlt a small amount of fluid in it...I am wearing underwear that holds it up but when I sleep I awake and it is hanging down....wow a lot to know...and to tell you the truth I am scared that I will mess something up along the way like a curved penis or one that does not fill all the way because I did not start working it quick enough...thanks folks

Is anyone else shocked that the doctor said to start pumping as soon as he got home??? I was at 50% inflated all 10 weeks of recovery and did not inflate deflate until exactly 10 weeks. Maybe you can pump it to 50% like me and wait a while until the swelling and sorenss goes down.

I tried my ump the next day after. My doc pumped me the day after that but then deflated me so I wouldn't look suspicious boarding the plane lol. I got home and began cycling. I'd say, if you feel no pain, start pumping.

Generally speaking, sitting/soaking in warm water will relax the sack. HOWEVER, generally speaking, sitting/soaking in warm water is frowned upon if fresh stitches will be submerged.

I was semi inflated after my surgery and told to keep my penis in an upright position till my six week appt.At my six week appt.,was when my device was activated and things were still sore at that point.I have pumped it up everyday since and now 9 weeks post op it has gotten much better.

You mentioned in an earlier comment that you were hoping to see some better length after activation. Did that occur?
