Two weeks post-implant: Titan

I'm new to the group but since I've just had a Titan implant two weeks ago, I figured I would send my thoughts two-weeks post surgery. Happy to answer questions and will consider showing other guys since this is something I would have greatly appreciated in advanced.

PROs:

* Already able to fully pump it up for a powerful erection, much sooner than I expected
*Was back at work on Day 6, and off all pain meds but Aleve by then
*Other than a general aching in the scrotum, shaft and head, the pain is very tolerable
* Masturbated once already (somewhat painfully) to make sure all the plumbing still worked and it did indeed
* Erect penis still looks like the original one as I remember it
* It really will be erection on demand with no more fear about pills not working or what I might have eaten or how far in advance I need to plan for sex

NEGATIVES:

* Those first few recovery days were BRUTAL; seriously rough
* Even though I already fully inflate and deflate it, my cock remains in a semi-erect state all the time (and again, this when fully delated); the urologist assures me this will go down as everything stretches, so I'm taking his word; have to be careful when standing up at work and in front of people
*Lost maybe 1/2 inch in length, but don't mind too much given the great erection, and thickness
*The pump really sticks out of the bottom of my scrotum, much more than expected, especially if I'm lying down. Any sexual partner I fear is going to notice and I'll need an explanation. This is my singlest biggest concern right now. Surgeon has said it could be repositioned in a couple months but that would require cutting one of the tubes to shorten it, and that can affect the duration of the implant.

Hi recent,

Congrats! May I ask who your doctor was? Does the head of your penis engorge without pills?

Also, what was the cause of your veanous leak? A little about your background would help others understand how you got here and why. This is important to other men trying to make a decision.

Search the forum for TomFord he had his pump repositioned and was very happy with it!

Thanks for the replies. I'd rather not post the surgeoun publicly at this point on here but happy to discuss in a private message.

I think it was organic venous leakage. The ultrasound with injections showed a continual peak and valley. My penis would fill up completely but then leak right out, over and over. That was what happened to me generally. I could get hard (especially with staxyn or viagra) but witout constant sexual stimulation my erection would vanish completely, and it got worse and worse over the years.

Regarding the head, I've only masturbated once since implant and the head did not engorge, no. My head is decent sized so it didn't seem unusual looking. I have not yet tried with pills. I'll wait a few more weeks for that.

Have you always had ED? So it seems like you skipped the injections?

If I were partnered or married, I might have considered injections, but not as a single 40-something man. My cock ached for hours after the injection I had in the office. I grew to hate always worrying about having a pill in my pocket or bag just in case. Can't even imagine doing that on a long-term basis with needles. Having said all that, an implant is a massive & irreversible decision, I realize. The stress of pills and uncertainty was just too much for me.

RecentImplant,
Congratulations on your surgery. I wish you all the best. I am at 11 weeks post-op with an AMS LGX and extremely happy with my results. Your comment about being careful getting out of a chair in front of others hit home for me. My AMS device is less rigid than your Titan and depending on what I am wearing, my penis sometimes is very obvious while standing and I am not all that well hung either so if you have that going for you, too, I imagine it could be quite a show if you aren't careful. I hope all continues to go well for you.

Greg

Thanks for the post, @Greg1956. Congratulations to you as well. Did you find yours 'softened' over time or it has stayed consistent for the 11 weeks post surgery?

When was your first sex after surgery? How much length do you think you lost?

Much appreciated. Keep it, um, up!

WELCOME!
And thank you for the post!!

I'm getting implanted on February 6th.
Excited as hell!

Encouraging to hear the major pain symptoms subsided so quickly for you.
I didn't want to burn all my PTO so I only took off 6 days of work lol I hope I can walk normally by then.
Thankfully I have a high pain threshold and have had surgery down there before (vasectomy, obvs much less invasive but still)

I've heard the titan takes a while to get supple. The AMX implants are softer by default but supposedly are also more soft when pumped fully.
I personally would rather have a semi all the time in exchange for a good solid erection.

Even after 2 weeks, your body is still getting used to the implant. Basically your body is going, "Whoa! wtf is this!? attack attack attack!"
So I'd wait another month or even two and see where the pump rests. I bet it will find a nice spot when the inflammation goes down in there.

I'm going to miss the ability to cross my legs as that's how I normally sit lol.

Congrats on the bionic brotherhood!

Post pics when you're comfortable. The community always likes to see post op successes!

12 months post op
you need to relax a bit.....it's all new and most issues (or non issues) seem to resolve with time.
You will be amazed and pleased at how good it is after about the 7 month mark.
