Revision 12/13/17

Leaving for Baltimore in a couple of hours for my pump re-position revision.

I am so much less nervous about this one than I was for the original implant. I had worked myself into quite a state worrying about the recovery, and now that I know what to expect, it just seems so much more manageable. Cylinders stay, reservoir stays, pump gets replaced. So I'm guessing this will be a lot easier, but still a pain in the balls :o .

Not looking forward to a new incision and having to break in a new pump, but hey, that should be a pretty good trade for having the pump away from the base of my dick.

Best wishes to you Bob. Let's hope Kramer lives up to his reputation.

All the best to you Bob. I am sorry you have to go through a revision process, but if it provides the results you desire, it will be well worth it.

Good luck with Dr. Kramer tomorrow! I'll probably be about a month behind you on the repositioning. Mine just won't drop down. I don't know whether the tubes are too short or it just got tangled or adhered to something in the scrotum. If you get a chance, ask Dr. Kramer if he just put you in a new pump with slightly longer tubes or what. And, I wonder, will he need to add more saline. I'm thinking I might also ask him to trim down (make smaller) the scrotum, if possible. My implant is absolutely perfect, except for the damned pump. I must struggle in the hot tub using two hands while my wife does the squeezing. The deflate valve is so high it's almost impossible to get hold of both sides simultaneously. And it's oriented in a way that I keep ending up with my fingers on the rounded sides instead of the flat button sides to squeeze. Keep me posted, please. I'm sure yours will come out perfect. Dr. Kramer is absolutely the best!

Thanks for all the good wishes.
So far, this has been a breeze compared to the implant. Scrotum and balls hurt, sitting and standing are uncomfortable, but that's no surprise. On my back most of the time with ice. Kinda brings back memories....
Will work on breaking in the new pump as soon as swelling goes down and incision heals. I'm looking forward to getting back in the saddle :D .
