I am about 24 hours away from receiving my implant and am thoroughly pumped!
I have been a relatively quiet member of this forum, but you all have helped me so much to get to this point. Thank you.
We are so excited for our future! Merry Christmas!

Good morning everyone!
I am three days post procedure and am happy that I have fared as well as I have. The catheter came out Thursday and the drain Friday. My swelling is modest and I have yet to experience any significant pain.
My first shower this morning was a great relief and I used the time to find the pump and as directed, pull down on it. More scary sounding than what it actually feels like.
Thank you all for your openness and support. Have a Merry Christmas!
Mike

Thanks, Michael. I am delighted so far. I can actually say I have had no pain! Dr. Hakky had to place my reservoir on my right side, which necessitated some cutting that has brought pain, but all I have is some swelling and bruising and my five day hard-on!
