How to keep it private?

Uro says I should get an implant if I want to have it done. I am single. I have family in the area. But none of them will keep it to them selves. Seems to me someone will have to be at the hospital when it is done or at least when I'm released.

Is there any way to keep this private?

No one knows about my implant except the guys on this forum. For release from the hospital you will need an adult there for you, but I used a medical escort service for that, about $100. The hospital or doctor should be able to give you a referral for the escort.

That was great advice BUT once everything is said and done, are you going to try to keep it even from your sex partners?

I also used a medical escort when I had my implant a year ago.....nobody knew....not family, not friends........but if you are in a situation where somebody will know that you had surgery........tell them that you had hydrocele surgery......hydrocele is a condition where there is a build up of fluid in the scrotum.....the fluid is drained by an incision made in the scrotum and the healing process is similar to implant surgery healing.......

I don't kiss and tell to folks I know and am around. Now women they talk. And they will find the 3rd guy down there. So later after it is done and working I will be ok with folks knowing. But until then I want it to be private. I guess I can talk about it here. But not to others I know until it is fixed. I don't know if that makes any kind of sense or not.

Not with my family. They want to grill the doc and nurses and everybody on what is going on. I was thinking bladder work for a while but they'd get somebody to slip up or see something. Now just to decide to either go to a larger area with a well known uro or stay local. I figure a weeks stay in a motel either way and just tell folks I will be gone for a week.

It seems a guy or two here have also used a doctor in NY, across the street from a hotel. If I recall correctly they have a nurse or someone help them to their room and the doc comes the next day to check on you.
