I've read a number of posts where men with implants have said their penis is oval rather than round. Is this typical with implants? What's the cause? Is it different depending on the model (AMS vs. Titan)?

My previous AMSs were all ovals. My current Titat was pretty oval too at the beginning, but I am seeing its shape getting more and more cylindrical.

I was told by my doctor that I have a slight hourglass look but when I pump up it looks normal to me only bigger and Hard. a lot depends on how long you have had ED and your history, I used trimix for over 20 years and had a lot of damage because of it but I'm very happy with results of my implant in both size and length and also had a great surgeon

Golly, I never noticed any significant difference in being round or oval. Perhaps a bit more oval, but I am unsure. I was so happy with the nice new thick girth of my penis as compared to my limp and shrunk little worm that I had before (due to prostatectomy). I've never heard of anyone complaining about the shape of the girth before so most must be please with that aspect post surgery.

Dr. Eid has a short video on his YouTube channel explaining this phenomenon, and how the Titan, with time, helps to get back the shape. Also, remember that even though at the beginning it is more oval, the engorgement we get with sexual stimulation helps to get the more cylindrical shape. Now I can see a clear difference in shape between the erection during cycling vs erection during sexual activity (which consequently also adds to the girth and length).

Yes Plumber........I agree.
I was a bit surprised at about the 8 week mark that my shape was more oval and it took me a while to adjust.
Whenever I would masturbate it sort of threw me a bit (because of the flatness) and it took a while for my mind to accept the new shape.
I can only speak about the Titan and now, after almost 12 months and lots of cycling, masturbation AND pussy, all is fine and my shape is rounder and my girth is excellent.......... particularly so when a pussy and/or a mouth is involved.

Still oval shaped when cycling however with arousal i see more blood flow and ultimately my dick appears more round. Also get more swelling in the glans !
