I'm just wondering if any guys out there suffered from a pain from the pump that mimicked getting kicked in the balls? If so, how long did it last? Was it a little more than that feeling or a little less? Believe it or not that is one thing I am afraid of.

Personally, I would not liken the implant recovery to the pain of getting kicked in the balls. But, my doctor gave me morphine pills. More of an bruising pain than that of a constant gut renching pain.
The implant is major trauma to your genitals. However, there is a variety of pain tolerance between
us all. Typing on this is tricky, so I hope it sounds correct. Vegas

With the implant, my whole dick and ball area was sore and throbbing for a couple of days, but never felt like a kick in the balls.. With my revision to reposition my pump in December, the pump hung down on the left sort of where my left nut belonged. I had a mild case of feeling like I had been kicked in the nut for 4 or 5 days, but it went away.

My nuts headed north -- for safety I guess -- after the prostatectomy and again after the implant. That, and the fact that they have shrunken to the size of grapes (from 15 years of T replacement therapy) have kept them pretty much out of the pain/discomfort equation.

As a teenager I took a knee to my balls. It was excruciating pain. There has been nothing since my implant that is remotely close to that feeling. In the first few days when there was some swelling, I would call it tenderness and soreness, not pain. Now at 4 month post-op I don’t really know the pump is there most of the time. Occasionally I get into a position where my balls and pump get squished together and I feel a pinching sensation, but again nothing even close to a kick in the balls.

pain from implant surgery was, for me, at most, 10% as bad as being kicked in the balls. And for me, that horrible ache in the balls was something I never encountered

"Kicked in the balls", you get over with pretty soon. My first (botched) implant took two scrips of Percocets and months of Tramadols.....bad surgeon, long term pain... My second implant by a top doc (Perito)...no prescription pain meds...Extra Strength Tylenol only.... the doctor made a BIG difference!!! Good luck man!

Guys I really appreciate the responses. Quite honestly I don't know why I didn't ask this question sooner. I remember having this concern when I first learned about a pump and where it goes. Thanks again.

Another medical emergency is a condition called Testicular Tortion. That would feel like a kick in the balls. It is when your testicles get twisted. Again, you need to see your doctor,
