Recent Implantee

Hi,
I recently had implant surgery. I've suffered from venous leakage my entire life (which I did not realize, just thought I was broken). I'd gone to a few Urologists in past and had Viagra prescribed, suggestions to use constriction rings, etc with no success nor follow up from Urologist. Finally visited Urologist who specialized in sexual medicine and he did testing etc to identify venous leakage. That alone was a relief, to finally understand the problem.
After a few stops/starts because of Insurance Approvals then my original urologist no longer being in-network, I had surgery 2+ weeks ok.
So far, so good. I was most worried about post surgical pain, but I have to say my original Urologist prepped me for much worse pain than I've had. First 2-3 days after surgery pain meds are necessary to sleep, not be uncomfortable. But by 4th day I was able to get my on ibuprofen twice a day and was moving pretty well. Will have to see how next weeks go and i can begin using implant. I have first follow up with my Urologist later this week. Also cool, I was able to have surgery done as outpatient, so no hospital stay

Welcome to the Bionic Brothers Club. I was implanted 6 months ago after 30 frustrating years with a Venous Leak. I wish the first step for ED would be to deft ermine the problem rather than trying every possible drug and treatment to see if anything works. I hope you continue to heal quickly and best wishes in the weeks ahead as you get to begin using your "new" dick.

welcome and well done. I had mine done 4 days ago, and like you, found the pain to be far less than I anticipated - with painkillers hardly noticeable at all

Happy for you man. I could have wrote that story myself word for word.

Heal up, now is the time for patience and planning. It will get better and better each day, before you know it you will be having all the sex you want.

Just apply ice packs so the swelling will go down. It really is not as bad as a lot of men think it is. My scrotum did turn almost black. But in a few days with ice packs the white color started to come back. Actually what took a little longer on me to heal up was where they made the incision. The stitches were removed a little too soon and it seemed like it wanted to reopen, but a doctor prescribed an antibiotic ointment and I would put a thin film of ointment to prevent infection. Other then that my revision was a success. Now with the LGX it feels like I am holding a flashlight. The girth is really one thing you will notice with the LGX.
