Visibility and/or Palpability of Ectopic Resevoir Placement?

I had a successful Robotic-Assisted Laproscopic Prostatectomy (RALP) 2 years ago, that unfortuately resulted in permanent ED. I'm looking at penile implant options, and see penal-scrotal and infra-pubic (or some combination) as the possible choice. I've read that RALP patients are not recommended to get a penal-scrotal implant because of the possible 'rearrangement' of internal organs and the additional scar tissue that might be present in the space of retzius.
The common medical view today appears to be that infra-pubic approach (placing the resevoir under the abdominal muscles, above the transversalis fascia) is the safest way to go to prevent possible catastrophic consequences of blind placement in the retzius. My question to people who have had an infra-pubic penile implant is: can you see and/or feel your resevoir under your stomach muscle? My concern is primarily cosmetic. I'm may go to Dr. Perito in FL to get an infra-pubic implant, and am interested in how well he 'hides' the implant? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had a RALP and a peno-scrotal implant. I have never heard or read about them being incompatible. I have never felt the presence of my reservoir from day one. Just my two cents...

I had a RALP five years ago and my implant was performed four months ago. My doctor reported encountering significant scar tissue during the peno-scrotal surgery and placed the reservoir on my right side under the muscle.
I do have a somewhat visible bulge indicating its presence. I am not very slim, but I am not at all overweight. My doc mentioned that if I were much slimmer, it would be quite evident. I agree. Nevertheless, I do plan to take off some weight and I am not worried about the visibility of the reservoir.
Yes, it’s cosmetic, but it’s really not so bad.
