Is your penis bandaged in the upright position after surgery? Partially inflated?? How long will it be kept in this position??

I was not told that and I was not bandaged up. What is the purpose of the "pointed up" position?

My penis was wrapped in layers of gauze when I came home from the hospital and I was told to leave it in place until the third day after surgery. Mine was upright because I was left partially inflated and it was too stiff to go any other way. I ended up going back to the doctor to get deflated a bit so it would be easier to urinate. At that time he suggested leaving itvupright to help with erection angle. At my 4 week appointment he then said I could start wearing it down if I was satisfied with the angle.

I was bandaged with gauge and at 2 o'clock after surgery. The next day the catheter was removed and I was sent home still at 2 o'clock. My discharge instructions said to remove the bandage after I was home that day. And also there was no need to tape my penis to my stomach. It did say to wear the supporter for 1-2 weeks and I did keep at 12 o'clock as much as I could but when I did have to dress and get out or get up and move around I would try to alternate between 2 and 10 o'clock. I was partially inflated 18 days then started inflating and deflating.
