Pump hangs too close to my balls

Its hard to squeeze the pump without irritating my ball. I don't know if this is because I have large balls or my scrotum is not big enough.

I have seen posts about pulling down the pump. Do it gently often.

Yes that is what my surgeon suggested when I mentioned that it was very close to my left ball, as long as it is done within the first six weeks when things are a bit moveable

Dared,
Is your sac totally tight or do you have some flexibility? I do not have large balls like you say you do, but my sac is small. I am not sure if I can describe this well, but will try. I use two fingers on my left hand to pull my left ball to the side. The very tips of those same two fingers are up against the back side of the pump to keep it from slipping when I use my right hand to pump. It works great for me.

I do the same as Greg. (I do have large balls but also a sac that makes them low-hangers when the temperature is warm.) I hope everything works out well for you, Dared.

My pump is so high it's a very difficult challenge to deflate. I'm six months out. Pulling down did nothing. My Doctor said he will have to go back in and "reposition" it. No explanation was provided as to why he did it like that in the first place.

Yes regained an 1.5 inches and only three months out from surgery. I did a lot of penis extender before which is why I needed an implant to begin with. I cannot pull down because I'm too far out from surgery.. The pump hangs low enough it's just there's not enough space between my balls so when I squeeze the pump it's is also very hard not to squeeze part of a ball. I believe I have a small sac and large balls but I don't know.

Pump is too high. How hard is it for a competent Dr to get it right? Using your pump takes practice. This is my technique.I
1. Always pump using two hands.
2. Firmly grip your pump with one hand at the connector end.
3. Place pump at skin of scrotum. You will see outline of pump bulb.
4. Squeeze quickly (pop it) to activate pump
5. Continue squeezing bulb to fill implant. (Never release the pump when squeezing the bulb)
This works if your pump is placed low where it's supposed to be.

My pump is directly in between my balls. No place else for it to go lol. I don't hang low. It took about 6 months from surgery for it to be comfortable, but I don't notice it at all now. Donnie has it right on the pumping so follow his lead on that. I think that the comments about the pump placement being easy are too simplistic. For many if not most men, the scrotum can be anywhere from tight to lose and hanging low. Some guys hang way down when in a hot bath and up tight in cold water. Your surgeon has to use the best judgement he or she can when placing the pump, and often they must weigh the risk of adding tubing and connectors against the possibility of a slightly high pump placement. I would certainly wait until at least 6 months post op before judging your placement. I can remember struggling with the release button in the early months and thinking i might be a little tight. Now, A year in, I would call it perfect.
Best to you brother.
