This kind of statement is referred to as "heresay". An unsubstaniated, unprovable, thirdhand account, being used by this poster to support his well known bias.

Well, it‘s so easy to explain. If your dick is on the very short side how can you be fond of the Titan because that implant is recommend for the bigger dicks?

I’m with Maxxxx
Raptor, it would be instructive if you were to clearly state the reasons for your revisions.
Yours would seem an unusually high rate of failures and we would all benefit from learning about them.

My surgeon chose Coloplast because of the size of my penis......he said it would provide the optimum outcome.

I suppose only time will tell.

I found Raptor's old message explaining the reason for the failure. As I imagined, it is due to the Tubing pump-cilynder ..

[Quote]
"All have been tubing that connects the pump to the cylinders prematurely failing. I am assuming the third is the same! I have been told this is an issue with the newer Titan with in the last five years. I love the Titan when it works, but this is taking a toll financially with out of pocket. I'm in contact with Coloplast hoping they not only cover the equipment again, which they have and should, but also willing to cover the revision as well, since this last unit only lasted 13 months "

All of the studies I have seen on longevity put the Titan in the lead...I'm sure of it.
Those studies have been posted here, I think by lostsheep.

I too am disappointed if the titan turns out to be unreliable. Everything else about it seemed great.

My failures were all OTR pump tube connections. I do notice a difference in how Dr. Blick implanted it deeper so I do not feel tubes at the base of my shaft. Hopefully the genisis, which is old school but has a very good track record will last.

What is 'OTR'?
And would you not consider going for an AMS if the Titan has failed 3 times?

OTR is Coloplast one touch release, although it never really worked that way. The genisis takes a continuous two finger pressure and many patients complained it was too hard to use. All the Docs that I have seen still recommended the Titan due to my size, including Dr. Eid, plus the real fact that it has a life time warranty the first two were covered these last two were out of pocket.

Ok, I don't want to scare anyone away from the Titan. When it worked, it was great. In my situation, my wife is 10 years younger and we have sex a lot. Sometimes three times a day but always at least once. On top of that we were very active in the swingers lifestyle until this last breakage. We have since decided to go back to monogamy and no longer put the additional stress on my boy! After all when you are the only guy still standing, you get alot of attention. This is not to brag, but being real. I am not the easiest or best patient. I have already used it three times and was just revised on tuesday. Hope that clears up any fears of going with the Titan!
