Was it the right decision?

Postby Maverick2dog » Mon Feb 04, 2019 9:29 pm

I had my original implant done on April 11th 2018. First revision November 15th 2018. Second revision January 31st 2019. 3 implant surgery in 9 months. Each one more painful and more complicated.

My decision to get an implant was based on the fact that injections did not work as well as they once did. And the thought of having spontaneous sex again was very appealing. Now I am woundering if the sex I had before the implants was good enough.

If my dick did not work at all I would do it all again. Because I could still have sex with the wife, not like I wanted to, but could still have sex. Was going ahead with implant a mistake. Currently I would say it was a mistake. I made the choice and will continue to work on trying to get the implant working satisfactory.

I am not and was not looking for perfection. I just wanted a dick that worked reasonably well and did not hurt all the time.

What bothers me most about this is they just kept selling new implants but never really addressed till now what the problem was. The surgery manual has specific warnings about puncturing the cavernosa, how to avoid it, care to take and how to recognize if it has happened. Not my dick but with this being this many revisions and what you have been through, I am steamed. Hugs to you and your wife buddy.
LGX 21cm .Milam 01/13/16. Horror; both service and surgical outcome. hated infrapubic installation. Kramer revision 03/01/17. 22cm Titan +1.5cm extender. Those who think their opinion is the only one that matters are a danger to themselves and others.

What was the reason for the revisions?

That sucks you had to have all those revisions! On the other hand, once injections stop working as well as they used to usually they will stop working at all soon.

I know I would talk to a lawyer.
Maybe the other docs wouldn't have to testify since they must have documented what they had to do to fix the original botched surgery.

Stitches from third revision. This is five days from out from surgery. Wonder how that is going to look once stitches are gone. For sure it will never be the same. I was not interested in being de gloved. Not sure that was an option. Obviously I am sill swollen. Much less bruising this time. Last time I was bruised hip to hip.
