Cigar,
We both have similar circumstances. I turned 65 10/2018 and was waiting on Medicare too. I'm scheduled to become bionic April 2019. I'll be posting whether it was worth it or not. Dr. Kramer is doing procedure beginning at 5.30 am (damn that's early) 4/17/19.
Two More Years 'til Medicare. Implant Worth it at 65?
Re: Two More Years 'til Medicare. Implant Worth it at 65?
RP surgery for PCa March 2011, rising PSA 2013, remission since 2014. Chronic ED since 2011 tried pills, VED, and injections. Implanted LGX 4/17/19 Dr. Kramer. On scale of 1-10 I'd give it an 8. That's due to a slight curve.

Yes, I use it as often as possible and masturbate with a VERY Hard cock. I was 67 and had missed a lot but the best part was the Mental knowing I could have sex anywhere and anytime with anyone who wanted.

Implanted March 2nd by Dr. Kramer with AMS/LGX. Had a problem lower left (scar tissue) and he placed a larger (thicker) implant as you can here on the YouTube video. Got all back, ED over 10 years before Implant.

My uncle got his implant some 15 years ago at age 75 and he's still going strong. It helps that his wife is 12 years younger...
Born 1948, wed 1969. BPH & Type II Diabetes at age 35. TURP-2002; ED even before that--diabetes. Cardiac valve surgery: 2007 & 2019. Poor results with pills. Started trimix injections in Nov, 2010. Great results from the very beginning.

Re: Two More Years 'til Medicare. Implant Worth it at 65?
I'm 68 and almost 6 years from my first implant. For 2.5 heartbreaking years after RP, I had no erections...none...period! One botched implant, one equipment failure. But....I CAN FUCK!!!!
Sometimes with no orgasm (it's still fun!!!)....sometimes with a "dull throbber" (getting sucked IMMEDIATELY can often turn these into "whimperers"). But sometimes (uh...2 hours ago) I get the "never ending" orgasm (a post-RP thing, I think) that has me coming and coming and my girl and I both laughing as I continued coming and laughing and coming and laughing...some of you know what I mean!!!)....
Post RP, I thought my dick was dead.....It's not....yours probably isn't either....
Good luck, man

I'm 64 and I can tell you emphatically............. IT'S A MIRACLE!
It's been 3 months since surgery. We are like teenagers again. It has been such a success so far! I am so very very thankful.

Hi Cigar,
I had mine over a year ago. It made me feel young again. Now 78. I am in a similar situation.

Thanks for all the wonderful responses, guys. I am almost certain I am going to do it. My only hesistancy is the fear of needing a revision at some point because of a failure in the device.
How did all of you deal with that possibility during your decision making?
Thanks!

I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.
