can anyone explain the comparisons of the girth between the CX and Titan. I was told that if you compare the Titan and the CX side by side the Titan may have more girth. My dr told me, IF I UNDERSTOOD HIM CORRECTLY, the amount of girth that you will get either between the CX or Titan is only what your anatomy (dick) will allow. Another words if your girth is 6 inches regardless if the Titan or CX can expand to more than 6", your only going to get 6 inches if that's all your body will allow.... Comments?

My other question is, if you really don't know what your girth will be until your dr gets in there inflates you and looks during surgery ......how are you suppose to decide ahead of time if the CX will provide the girth you originally had or if the Titan will do a better job....comments?

What if your a grower and not a shower. How are you suppose to know what the actual max girth will be with out getting an hard erection in his office ( and sometimes trimix does not work for all of us)

To Mustang...actually my urologist initially said based on my ultrasound and exam he felt due to my physiology a Titan would be what he would recommend. Jump forward to me questioning him about the Titan, that’s when he said “you’ll love the Titan”.
Yes, I loved my dick when it was 100%, the way it looked and felt. So, I’m hoping for same when implanted. I just want a working hard dick.

Dougand....I’ve never heard about dependent and independent tunica. My urologist never mention either. I need to read up on that!

Needhelp.... my urologist did say wouldn’t actually size me until he was inside. Of course measurements were made when I had the ultrasound. I had the Trimix injection which made it very full but not hard hard! No Peyronies was identified. He said he felt based on the ultrasound that my cavernosum was good because my inflow numbers were double what he normally sees. So I guess that’s a win. The VL is my problem.

My doc did what needhelp's did. He never measured me at all pre-op, and it turned out fine.
I do find that my CX always seems "in the way" when flaccid which takes some getting used to.
I can only imagine what a Titan would be like, but to each his own.

You are only one month in. I expect you will get used to stowing your "Titanic" CX in your pants

I'm not sure what the Doc means about what your body will take unless he means that if your corporas are too small for a Titan. But if you get a Titan you will immediately have much more girth than the CX or LGX can ever offer. And that is first night out the door.

AMS devices, when inflated to 20 PSI (the normal operating pressure that gives rigidity desired by most users) outside of a body, get 17 to 18 mm in diameter. Coloplast devices get 19-22 mm. At 10 psi the AMS devices get 16mm and the Coloplast 17-18mm

I think the 12mm dimension comes from the AMS Operating Room Manual and refers to the uninflated, relaxed dimension.

got the cx 18 cm + 4 RTE last November and have still lost 4 cm length and 3,5 cm girth - disappointing!

Your prostate surgery likely had more to do with losing length than the installation of the implant, but I'm not a doctor.

Thanks Lost sheep, that evens the field a little. But even when I am fully pumped my skin is loose and only 5 inches in girth. I suspect that the AMS numbers are based on the 25% expansion rate and not on the actual fact ie inside of the patient. Same for the Titan.
I doubt that mine will ever make that since I almost never fully inflate due to my situation (distal crossover)
