Edrudd,
My advice would be to try the least invasive approach first. I did injections for over ten years. That's a long time to be injecting. But I did it about 2 to 3 times a week and it gave me a hard, hot, natural looking erection for over an hour. Eventually it lost effectiveness and I got an implant. The implant, unlike injections, which fill your penis with blood, fills the cylinders in your penis with liquid. So the head will likely be cold and flaccid looking. However, with any stimulation or sexual thoughts, it will become engorged like a natural erection.
Best wishes,
Kevin
Question about head of the bionic penis
Re: Question about head of the bionic penis
ED since 35 with no known cause -- injections successful for over a decade with 10/1/30 and less than 20units but that became ineffective. Implanted penoscratally by Dr. Kramer of Baltimore on 9/13/17 with AMS 700 LGX 21cm + 0.5cm RTE at 47 years old

Did you develop peryonie's os scarring tissue? I am afraid of injections because I don't want to loose dick size with scarring or peyronie's. But this year I will be doing injections I think. Im going to try my first injection in a couple of weeks

I didn't develop peyronie's or any scarring. It is a risk but I don't know how likely it is to develop either. It's something to be aware of and be watchful for.

I totally agree with Airwolf.
My best advice would be to work on returning and improving your natural erections. You are too young to loose that spontaneity when you see good looking girl or you are with her. Nothing is comparable to natural erections.
Before my RP, I would kiss my wife in the neck while she is cooking and almost instantaneously she would feel my penis getting hard. That is something that I am greatly missing.
Implant is irreversible procedure, no going back again. Damage is done.
For us without options , implant is great and we are loosing nothing. We were anyway at deed ended street.
I would find urologist who wants to try all non invasive and less invasive treatments before implant. It might not work well every time but it could improve and get you back on the track of natural erections.
My ED was caused by RP. If it would be of any other origin, definitely I would not go with implant. I would work with anything else even if success would be just 1 or 2 times out of 10 attempts.
Justmy 2 cents.

If your glans doesn't engorge before an implant then it won't after

Re: Question about head of the bionic penis
After my first inflate, I got a blow job and the head filled with blood just like a normal erection. Since then I have received what I had and the head fills whenever excited and even when I masturbate if enlarges. Photo is of first inflate in April 2016 and head was normal. Very pleased and all sensation has returned. No "Floppy Head".

Re: Question about head of the bionic penis
Like Airwolf I did injections for nearly ten years. As my handle suggests I had over 1000 injections with little if any scarring. Technique is all important. Use 5/16 #31 needles and bury the head of the needle to penetrate the cavernosa. My performance with injections was as good or better than it was naturally. Make sure you use a vacuum device to maintain size, as you will not be having nocturnal erection for natural maintenance. As for the glans. like others have already said it has a separate blood supply and you need to be aroused for it to get erect with blood. I had the cold glans thing for the first few months, but within 6 months I was fine and normal feeling with stimulation.
Age 75 Implanted by Dr. Andrew Kramer 03/22/2017. AMS 700 LGX 18 CM with 2 Cm RTE for a total of 20 CM. Previously used injections over 1000 no scarring
