I will add my two cents worth as well.

FIRST: I have a very fine vocabulary as I actually received a rather good education. I will admit, I do add some color with any of a choice words and I guess many would say they are CUSS WORDS. Often, NO most of the time AS GUYS we understand many things when you use these 4 or 5 letter words to get across a point. Unlike the ladies, as real men who are in the real world in just talking with another guy this would be standard conversation. I use these gems for inferences because that makes the point.

SECOND: I am not sure exactly what the ground rules are here. I was told in chat one night, and I believe I am correct on this, that in general the sky was the limit. If I need to go back and edit every post I have made I may as well just delete every post I have made. I realize I have not been posting much lately as I am packing up one place to move to another.

THIRD: I would guess, from the number of responses to my post, PM's I have received and phone conversations my language must be fine.

FOURTH: My big goal for FT was to try and help someone else who was struggling with ED issues. It almost - in the end seems the only sure cure could be an implant. From a post I made here on FT I have had 2 guys reach out to me about getting an implant. Both stated since I have had an implant for about 26 1/2 years with 5 revisions I might really know something. One actually wants to meet me, to see what a finished product looks like. We know it will take some planing because of traveling but I think it could be arranged.

So, I guess my damn language is so shitty after all. I pretty much write as I talk on an everyday level with other guys. In mixed company, I do very different. My friend Steve and his wife swear, if they had a $ 1.00 for every time I said "SHIT" they would be rich. They know by how I drag it out how severe the problem might be. I guess Damn would be my second favorite choice.

MY POINT: Like someone posted before me what difference does it make as we are just guys looking for some help!

68, single, have had an implant since I was 42. Goals: to help men with ED; help men over come years of failure; to know their bodies; have a richer fuller sex life whether they or straight, Bi or gay. last I traveled this road starting in the late 60's

The FrankTalk forums have been indexed by multiple search engines for the past 7 years. Just a quick Google search shows the "F" word in FT posts going back to at least 2012. Your information sounds old or incorrect.

Winston Churchill in the House of Commons, 11 November 1947, quoting an earlier, but unnamed author, said "Democracy is the worst form of Government, except for all the others."

I paraphrase that sentiment as, "Self-Censorship is the worst form of editing, except for all the others."

Are we not men? Do we not have consciences? Let us consider ourselves as we would want to be considered by our Brothers or Sons (if not by our Fathers) if they should read what we write here (either in vocabulary or in content of the sentiments we express).

Rough language does not mean harmful intent. Also, one does not have to curse to be offensive, belligerent, bellicose or evil.

Curbing one's words (from outside or from within) can inhibit expression of thought.

What the [redacted]! Just because some [redacted] prudes in the [redacted] Bible Belt get their [redacted] panties twisted over hearing some [redacted] words, doesn't mean those of us born and bred in New [redacted] York should have to change we [redacted] speak. I want my kids to know me for who the [redacted] I am, not who some other [redacted] [redacted] wants me to be.

The Bible belt comment was unnecessary and displays your bias.

Verbiage that unnecessarily goes out of it's way to include excessive profanity (such as was demonstrated above, assuming the [redacted] were profanity) will detract from this site and make it useful to fewer readers.

I haven't, at this point, really noticed any shockingly excessive profanity on the forum so I really don't understand what the issue was.

Sometimes we need to remember the difference between "profanity" and "vulgarity." Profanity is misuse of the Lord's name, and this is not approved of by many persons. Vulgarity is just using "dirty words," and can be offensive when used in the wrong context (like using "fuck" during a speech to families).
