I've got a crazy question. I tried the pills and no erection. I'm trying the shots and no erection...…. but if I manually stimulate my self (play with myself) I get an ok erection...nothing great but an erection... why then do I get nothing when doing the shots....they are suppose to induce an erection. sometimes I think its only water I injected. Its not even close to being hard..... Any ideas? the reason I'm asking is because I'm probably going to be getting an implant (if I ever get insurance coverage) and I want to make sure I exhausted every possibility

Have you ever has your testosterone level checked? Mine is on the high end of normal and, despite the fact that I have an implant, I still get an erection (not hard enough to penetrate though)

yes.... I take Test shots every week ... I'm up and down level wise depending the time between shots

as far as the injections go really no difference with T levels. Not sure if its a difference in the nerves when you play with your self? Its not a hard erection but its better than the shots......but let me say this when I play with my self I have to keep at it or it seems like ill lose the erection. That's what I thought the shots would do ….is it induces the erection on its own … no playing.....going to take another shot tonight....trying anything....just want to tell myself I tried eveyrthing

My libido response is very much tied to my testosterone level. I get a very usual erection regardless of T level, but I have no sense of excitement and can not ejaculate if my T level is below 450. And that response is pretty much what the doctor at the clinic told me.

I was referring in my case to using trimix injections. The doctor at the clinic also said that a high T value will not cure phsysiological ED

Your penile fracture probably caused venous leak. It is common for pills and injections to fail, depending on how bad the leak is.

I did injections for a while back in 1989 and into the early 90's. I used Caverject which I do not see by any of the guys doing injections. I have checked and this is still a very good med it seems. My problem with it was I kept a boner for up to 9 hours unless I injected with something else to take away my erection. This was what brought me to the implant. It worked, it just over worked. LOL

Have you tried a cock ring when you get that "ok erection"?
