My acupuncturist gave me the following TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) diagnosis based on my pulse readings;
(they can tell all the following just by feeling the pulse on your wrist)
Liver with Qi stagnation (too yang)
Kidney; Yin deficient.
Heart; Yang deficient
Stomach. Yang deficient.
Small intestine; excess Yang.
So I decided to kill, i.e., to revive three birds with just one stone- in this case with a few needles.
I crossed checked common acupuncture points used to treat anxiety, hypertension and ED and came up with the following
list that would help with those three conditions at the same time, by balancing the above energetic excesses and deficiencies.
The common points were;
BL15-Xin Shu.
BL18-Ganshu.
BL23-Shenshu
CV4-Guanyuan
CV6-Qi Hai.
GV20-Baihui.
HE7-Shen Men.
LR5-Li Gou
PC6-Nei Guan.
SP6-Sab Yin Jiao.
ST36-Zu San Li.
So please, show this list to a reputable acupuncturist and if you have a similar diagnosis and suffer from those three conditions,
he might consider combining some of these points to treat you. Mine, being a long time friend and the pompous arrogant
prick that he is (I might de exaggerating a bit here :- ), pretended to ignore my suggestions, but I know he did use some of them on me

Trying Hard, I'm not sure whether your post was "toungue-in-cheek." It sounds rather funny.
And as corvetteman asks, does acupuncture work for e.d.?

Re: Acupuncture for ED
Did it work for me?
Something did. I attacked the condition simultaneously from several angles.
After doing extensive research on the net, I changed my hypertension
medication, started doing Kegel exercises, was seen by an homeopathic doctor
(as well as visiting a urologist) who prescribed me some medicine
(I later found out that the medicine he prescribed is popularly known as “the old man’s balm ! X#@%),
and have had acupuncture sessions. So it wasn’t the case of a monotherapy.
Sex is being carefully planned now, and I always take some Sildenafil beforehand, just in case
(who doesn’t, nowadays?), but there was this one occasion where it happened
unexpectedly, no preparations, and it worked fine.
As for acupuncture, I read several academic papers saying it works, including a very good one,
written by Peter Deadman MD, from NY;
funnily enough, he says that the Chinese are hot on Viagra now,
because of its more immediate effects!? Oh, well…

Re: Acupuncture for ED
I'm going to search for a accupunturist in my area and give it a try.

Re: Acupuncture for ED
The needles are inserted superficially on the skin. It doesn’t hurt;
some of the points are on the legs, arms, hands, ears, top of the head…
Google the points above by their names
and you’ll be able to see where they are.
Don’t try this at home!! :- )
I started with weekly sessions and now I’m going every other week,
as suggested by my acupuncturist.
I have to say that my level of general anxiety is really diminished.
