Testosterone Injections; Intramuscular vs. subcutaneous injection

Postby TheNordic » Thu Mar 21, 2019 6:30 pm

Which is best ? Are results the same ?
60 yrs. Testosterone injections bi-weekly. Use Trimix, Edex or Caverject. (prefer Trimix). Pumping regimen since July 2018. My Trimix prescription is T-50(0.3) / PGE-40(0.15) / LIDO (0.1). (or Papaverine-phentolamine-pge1 22-0.8mg-8 Mcg/ml Inj).

The stuff I take would burn if injected SQ. I take mine in my rump... the back of my front... Only hurts for a second because the stuff is thick like syrup and I need a smaller gauge needle to be able to inject... I get my wife to poke me every three weeks. :)

I did subQ for several years and preferred it way over the big injections. I basically did 50mg 2x a week subQ around my belly button using a 30 gauge needle. This kept my T at 750 - 800 at all times. No highs/lows, just steady T level. I think it is the best way to go for TRT. I stopped T because it didn't do anything for my ED or libido and it totally shrunk my testicles and increased the intensity and frequency of migraine.

Looking back, I think I would have tried a very low dose clomiphine citrate at 2x a week with a 3 or 6 month cycle instead of just the T (maybe 10mg). This would have naturally boosted my T levels and reinforced my testicles for the long hall. T and clomiphine citrate can be used together but you have to really watch the estrogen levels and use an aromatase inhibitor if it goes too high. For me it got too complicated keeping track of everything.

i've gone to testipellets, implanted every 3 -6 months in my Sub Q tissues of my abdomen. did everything else and this got the most time between treatments and i didn't have to shoot myself every week.
