BPh and getting an implant

Hello Guys

58 year old Irish guy beginning to suffer from what I think is BPH -getting up to pee at night and sometimes during the night finding it difficult to start . No problems during the day . Probably need to see a uro and then the challenge of deciding on a treatment . Not a clue !

I need to get an implant and have considered going to Dr. Eid or Kramer - don’t feel the docs here do enough implants. Wondering now how to go about getting the BPH sorted along with getting an implant . Have read about REZUM , Urolift and PAE . All opinions appreciated . Noel, Dublin

I take Tamsulosin for BPH and also didn't have an issue with BPH and my implant installation.

I had Urolift procedure done 30 days before implant. Didn't really see the benefits until about 30 - 60 days AFTER the implant but now my nights are pee free. I would suggest the Urolift over medication. I took the medication before the Urolift and found that the fact that you don't ejaculate during orgasm was a big deal for my wife. (May not be a big deal for your significant other or you.) Urolift is a quick procedure where you put under anesthesia for about 15 minutes and you're done. Very little pain with very good results.

My question is a little off-topic, but your mention of your wife's attitude brought up this question in my mind.

Some women put a great deal of stock in whether or not their man ejaculates. Some women would much rather not have to deal with the semen. (The "wet spot" syndrome)

Does anyone know what the reasoning/feeling/emotions are behind either attitude?

My girlfriend likes that I have an orgasm and feels unfulfilled when I don't (or feels that she has not fulfilled me), but I have not asked her how she would feel if I orgasmed without ejaculate.

There is a lazier treatment called the green light to treat your problem. A friend had that done with good results. Probably worth looking into.
