Besides, Joan Rivers was HILARIOUS, as was Phyllis Diller and countless others. The current crop is coming up with even more humor of as many styles as male comedians/comics/humorists etc. About the only genre women have not shown a penchant for is slapstick. I am waiting.

I beg to differ. Men are 5x more likely to SUCCEED at suicide. It's not so much that they are better at it, but they tend to choose methods that do not allow rescuers to intervene or the subject to change his/her mind.

Boys are left to find confidence in what they can make of them selves.

Girls, too. Just in different ways.
e.g. Boys bully each other in physical ways. Girls bully each other by being mean until they develop eating disorders. Different styles.

Or, how about we all recognize someone who is going through a rough time and support him - which does not mean we have to agree with him, but give him space and find out what is behind his feelings. I hate to point out, but instead of support, we just told this guy he was wrong. I'd like to see this be a space where a guy can express hurt and anger and find guys who will give him an ear and not try to 'fix' him or tell him why he is wrong.

FMLFML85 - i understand how the ED journey can become the "thread pulled ...which unravels the entire sweater". I went thru it myself a few years ago, when 6 (yes 6 !!!) women , inside of two years "kicked me to the curb" when I experienced ED. (after spending a lifetime of spareing women's feelings, as they revealed their sagging breasts, flat rear ends and other "less than perfect" physical attributes) ....and like you : I now cant help but notice who's buried in Arlington cemetery, who gets on the lifeboat first..... and how (with a straight face) we consider 60% of the population to be a minority. My advice: come to this site to contribute and acquire technical information regarding the latest medical advances. Don't expect support in or around the area of Misandry or any other such issues. This community is very very "blue pill" (for whatever reason) best of luck to you and try to keep a positive attitude.
